Guillaume and Ilias met by a stroke of fortune but they quickly realized that their business ideas and ambitions were aligned.
However, they still needed a technical genius if their ambitions were going to become a reality. They contacted Pierre, who was in Oxford at the time, with their idea. A few weeks later, Pierre was joining in on their conversations from the UK.
Having worked in the travel and hospitality industries in the past, our founders knew the massive challenges that customer-facing companies were having. The realization of how they could solve this problem came in Spring 2016.
The “aha” moment was at Facebook’s F8 conference. That particular year, Mark Zuckerberg announced the introduction of Messenger Bots and unofficially ushered in the era of automated messaging.
Soon enough, it all started coming together. Our founders were (and still are) convinced that they could help companies solve their customer support woes through smart conversational chatbots.
Within a few months, the first iteration of Mindsay’s conversational AI platform was born. A couple of months later, we landed our first customer.
