After an intense end to the year and some much-needed rest and relaxation, we've been able to take a breath and reflect on 2019. We want to thank our incredible team, customers, partners, and investors who've helped us bring customer experience automation to more and more consumers.
Here is a quick look at the eight milestones that marked our year:
It seems like its been years, but many people forget that only seven months ago we were known as Destygo. To better align with our mission of enabling companies to provide one-to-one customer experiences at scale, we rebranded to Mindsay in May 2019. We're very proud of our new name and website that showcases how we're bringing value to companies through customer experience automation.
Back when we were still called Destygo, we beat out travel technology startups from around the world by taking home the award from six judges at Expedia Group's Startup Pitch Competition.
After increasing our year-over-year revenue by more than 300%, we announced $10 million in Series A financing led by White Star Capital with participation from Partech, Accor, and Groupe ADP. This has allowed us to jumpstart our international expansion, particularly in the US.
Growing our team from 30 to 60 incredible people in 2019 was among our greatest achievements. Discover the people who power Mindsay and our conversational AI platform.
