Does this inspire you?
Take a boyhood dream. A really good dream. One that inspired you to become something, something you were not able to become because life got in the way. Opportunity lost, or just not yet realized? And then finally putting all the crap of life aside and the luggage of pain and fear we all carry around, you go for it. You are the dream maker. We all are. We just need to get out of our way. Now that could be an uplifting song. Add some faith in there and trusting your maker to give you the courage, and if it's good enough I'll submit it to a couple of nationally recognized Christian bands we work with to consider recording it.
My take on it is, if your inspired to write songs, write songs that inspire!! We need all the help we can get.

I've been actually meaning to write an uplifting song cause in the past thats what the majority of my songs have been. I was just kinda doing some experimenting with different kinds of writing. But thank you very much. I will definitely start to write songs that inspire people. You made a very good point my friend. =)
