Weird question, but I was checking out your profile and I saw under "expertise" you said gun smithing. What is that?
Gun smithing is repairing and building (or rebuilding) weapons. In short terms, I'm like a mechanice for guns.
Okay, cool. How did you get into that? Is it like a family thing, did you grow up hunting or gaming or something? It just seems so far outside my realm that I have a hard time imagining someone waking up one day and saying "I want to learn gun smithing". You know?
I grew up with hunters, yeah. And as I got older I got into pistol and rifle matches. I'm not the greatest with pistol matches, but I do pretty well with distance rifle matches.
