sorry, i had some issues with getting my nearest and dearest to read this post, but it's fixed now.

So, have I been moved to the "chopped liver" friends list or something? lol

god, no!  i could have sworn i clicked the *sistah nrl* tag as well as the *nrl* tag, but i didn't.  it's fixed now.

Moved to a new house-sit (just in time to avoid murdering a certain someone) and all hell has broken loose weather-wise.  Some cable has disconnected itself from the power pole out back and is now wrapped up in tree branches.  I think it is the phone, so am not too worried.  The power has gone out at least twice, tho briefly each time.  Over the back fence and about a quarter mile away is the ocean - strictly for looking at through window glass for now. Low minutes so reserving them in case of emergency.  Will replenish and phone you when I am again able to leave the house.

No tsunami so the house is still there. It is nice to be so close to the beach.  Yesterday evening the water was invisible due to fog, but the sky above was clear and there were stars.   Since the rain stopped I have been leaving the windows open - I like ocean air and the sound of the surf.

I am back home for a few hours.  My daily routine has been to wash dishes and clean the kitchen first thing in the morning.  It was obvious when I arrived that I had been away. I completely understand his trip and I sympathize and he makes me weary.

Thinking about making brioche and want your panettone recipe when you have perfected it.
