I tried to thank you earlier, but was having 'computer problems.'

Back, in younger days, before I married Michael, I had a dentist that was 'as cute as this one, and I went out with him several times, before Michael and I tied the knot.

Being as 'pretty' as you are, I am sure that you 'know the feeling! It must be the same for the 'hollywood stars' when they get 'put out to pasture!' If I do the 'cosmetic surgery' to take off 'twenty years, I will have to use my 'emergency money,' and that scares me! Oh well, we really can't complain, for if you were also free to date who you wanted to date... I know that 'we were the lucky ones. 

Yes, like you say, so many phone calls, before you can find the right people for the job, be it rug cleaning, plumbing, carpentry... and all the while, the phone company is 'counting minutes!' I just love it when they 'play music' for you, or advertise all of their other services, before they pick up the phone! Lol.

I tried to post a reply to you're charming post, but I was having 'serious computer problems!

I 'Pray' that it is all cleared up now! It does appear to be!

Perhaps you aught to give me that e-mail address again. I don't know where I put it! This time I will write it in my address book, and perhaps, if ever I need it, I can have my neice 'use her computer to 'let you know what is going on... if like last time, it did not carry me all the way to the Philipines! 

So you also 'like the Chamberlain type? We will have to see who he chooses then, to see who gets him... only problem is, he wouldn't have either of us... he seems to prefer the male gender. I know! I was 'Heartbroken' when he 'came out' so to speak. He would have made such 'Beautiful' children! However, he lives 'happily in Hawaii' with his very long time 'husband... and they are both 'very kind and loving 'Animal Welfare' people. I think they have at least 7 dogs, cats, and other little critters, happily running around in and out of their home on the sea.

My lovely neices, and one of the neices husband, came to visit me, and it was a 'joy' to see them all. My older neice, is the married one, and her husband is a 'real gentleman!' In fact 'he looks a bit like 'Richard Chamberlain in his youth,' only he is 'definitely' straight, 'Fortunately!'

It is really good to know, that I can make you smile! 'You are 'Precious!'

Perhaps, after a year of  'mourning' I will 'think about 'dating again, as it is often quite lonely... I would not want to 'Marry' again, as I would 'never find 'another Michael... but to have an older gentleman for a 'boy friend' would really be nice! Someone to 'travel a bit' with, or even 'picnic along the beach with.

My back is 'beginning to 'signal' so I had better 'get out of the computer chair quickly.

I still do not know how to 'post' pictures on the computer, and I really should not, for peeps like myself, who are 'highly controversial,' it is .... well you know, and I do to... it is probably silly, for there are so many 'controversial people' today but I 'have a tendency to be a little 'paranoid! One of my old problems, that never has entirely gone away, but no point in 'aggravating it! (I hate to deny you anything, for you are such a generous spirit, but this is something that we have spoken about before, and I explained, so I am sure that you understand.) I do look exactly like the old picture that I had on the interrnet before... the self portrait... however I am just a lot older now. As you know, I finally hit the big 70! (So just like that, with 'lots of 'Character lines!) After all, why should men get away with calling their 'wrinkles' "Character Lines" and it not be the same for us? Huuumph!

My neices live in Santa Fe, New Mexico! I have visited them there as well! It is an 'extremely interesting place! A lot of Indian culture. The people there, 'almost all of them, are very free-spirited, spiritual, and artistic! It gets fairly cold there in the winter,they get lots of snow,  and the trees on the mountain tops, look as though they are covered in white lace! All trees in winter are beautiful, but I had never seen this 'lace' effect before. It also gets very hot there in the summers. It sits 'just above Mexico.

My day starts with a quick doggie walk, and a longer one after we have all had our breakfast. During breakfast, the T.V. is on, and after breakfast, I do whatever I feel  is 'most important to get done... while I am still sharp. Then the longer doggie walk. Then another chore, then time to relax with my babies... the woofers and meowers.... then one more chore, and it is almost 4:00. That is when I usually start dinner with the T.V.on again, and then, it is off to bed at about sundown, with one more quick doggie walk.

Some days I just set aside all of the chores, and get myself out to the beach, where I love to watch the sea. The dogs do as well, but now, in the summer, it is just to hot to take them along to the beach... the sand would burn their paws. In fact the beach rules state that there is a 'fine' for anyone bringing their dogs to the beach in the hot summer months... and that is a 'Great thing, for there are really some 'dum' people that might otherwise! In the fall, early spring, and winter, the dogs are allowed to be on the beach, and there are only 'fines, for people that 'don't pick up after them! 

If there is a 'really good movie' playing, I will go. Sometimes I just go to the mall to shop, but that is always a challenge... to find the exit doors... if you know what I mean. I don't like to buy things that I don't 'really need. However, there is always 'that one thing' that you spot, that is a 'must have! And there goes your 'extra spending money for the week, that you really intended to save! Ouch!

I am so happy to hear that you are now 'enjoying good weather! Actually, today was not to hot, and I did not have to put the fan on. 

I really must get another computer chair, as this one 'has to go! I am actually standing now to type... put the computer on a little stand, but that is not very restful either! Don't worry, I'll work it out. In fact, it is supposed to be 'wireless now, and when I unplugged everything, nothing worked???  I need to call the internet provider, and see what is going on. I have a really comfortable chair downstairs, where I could sit with the computer on my lap! 

It is always a 'joy' to communicate with you Ellen, regardless of where my computer is stationed at the moment.

Favorite states? Lets see ... Besides California, I love Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Kentucky, North Carolina, , and have been to all but Idaho. Just have seen pictures of it. Tennesee is beautiful also. I guess, any state with beautiful mountains, rivers, and lakes, or coastline that has mountains. I really feel uncomfortable on flat terrain, for some odd reason. But that is just me. I know that there are some beautiful states with mostly flat terrain, like South Dakota, and North Dakota... flew over them, and they have unspoiled rivers that gracefully wind around, ... from the air, the rivers look like 'Beautiful feathers' strewn about. I do pray that they do not 'ruin them' with concrete, as they have done here in california! But the people here are beginning to return them to their 'once natural state, realizing the 'beauty that they lost. When was the last time that you were here in the U.S? I keep thinking that 'you must have been here, for you can write in 'perfect English.' I know that I would have a very difficult time, learning a new language, unless I lived in that country for a while, and was needing to speak it every day!

By the way, you are right! Our dogs 'really do sense when we are somewhat lonely, and they come over and 'nuzzle us,' reminding us that 'they are here, for us to cuddle! So Precious!

What kind of work did you do Ellen? It is 'Great to get a pension!' Here we get something called 'Social Security!' It is not a 'great deal of money, but it sure helps to pay the bills! Like you, I need to 'be careful' with money, as I have not the strength to work. And right now, the U.S. economy is 'in critical care,' so the prices of food, and other basic essentials, is skyrocketing... but I do believe that 'we will recover from this' as we have done in the past.

Well, I guess it is time to 'get to sleep.

I too watch CNN every day, and anything to do with 'Travel' like National Geographic. The Discovery channel is so interesting as well, along with a few others that you mentioned.

No, I havn't read anything about what other Mindsayers are saying about Mindsay... what are they saying? Not that it is going to close. I sure hope not!

But if it did, I would try to reach you at the personal e-mail address. I might try it out again anyway, as perhaps they have added more 'towers, for it to 'get across to you.

Far fewer people listen to the radio anyway. Most watch T.V. and almost every T.V. station, is 'Rating our new President 'Highly!' Lols!  He has a 'Very Intelligent, and Loving wife, as well! Michelle Obama! And two 'adorable' daughters! PLUS.... A DARLING NEW FIRST-DOG, in the White House... but to them, the NEWEST member of their 'PRECIOUS' family!

Would you say that President Obama has completely 'WON ME OVER?' I would say so! WELL ALMOST! HE NEEDS TO 'STAND UP, ' TO SET IN PLACE, STRONG PROTECTIONS FOR OUR ANIMALS, AS WELL! THEN... HE WILL HAVE 'WON ME OVER' COMPLETELY!
