Is your family in Chicago OK?  After the earthquake?  I just read about it in our paper, as I don't watch TV news very often.

Yes, thanks for asking. There was no damage. In fact I just talked to my daughter who was delighted because she was awake and felt the earthquake. She said it felt like the bed was on water, but she knew what it was an earthquake even tho she had never felt one before. The rest of the family (except for the cat) slept through it. She said she almost woke Zel up so she could feel it too.

Ha, love it.  That's how I am, out here in California, earthquake country.  We are right on the San Andreas, and the first time I felt one, it was really cool.  Now, when I hear the windows rattling, I know it's a quake.  But we have a 99% chance of having a HUGE one in the next 30 years - and that doesn't make me happy.  Our house was built before the 06 earthquake, but I have no idea if it could go through another one.  Oh well, we have now reinforced with plywood, the entire outside of the kitchen and part of the inside, and our one bathroom too.  There's a name for that, but I can't remember it.  Anyway, I'll run into the bathroom ;~)

The strangest thing happens when you hit age 64... you get comfortable with the way you look. Your body goes through so many changes at this age that you have to get comfortable or you would go nuts.

Snort, try 40. I've gained what seems like 10 lbs since Easter... I wouldn't care but I'm having trouble breathing, I feel like it's more, I'm too afraid to get on a scale to actually see, I go by can I button my pants.... eye roll. I feel like I'm going crazy now... I'm used to the silver hair that refuses to be coloured, and a few other things but cripes... ever changing shouldn't apply to gravitational forces on our bodies, lol. 

I am not making this comment publically because I take the picture you have shown in your last blog so seriously. 3 years ago I say a mosaic picture of busgh with the title "If you look closely you will see what is integral to this man.
It was made out of a mosaic of human "anuses". Is that the proper plural or is the plural of "anus"   , "republicans"./

On some level this photo is offensive, but the mocking image of Bush and McCain cannot be ignored.

I would put him a cage where he couldnt be killed but where people could come and comment to him . His lips would be sewn together.

If  he were to die he would be kept alive and conscious by artificial means.
