Sweet Departing of the Sun
And the sun slowly rolls behind the knoll
A kiss of pink, orange and red touches the sky
To be in short patience pays it's toll
As the clouds painted with brilliance pass by
A secret held within whispers in the breeze
The flowers dance a sweet motion of caress
Silence to one; To another screaming pleas
The tired sun left itself to rest
Torn between Night and Day
But sucha beautiful transition
Such a high price to pay
To be left with an unanswered descision
Within reach of day, but tempted by night
Nothing more to say, conquered before the fight
The blue turns to gray, the black disolves the light
All hope blown away, the weak overcomes the might
Staring straight into the darkness it wants
But holding on to the light it knows
Still when the sun sets, it still haunts
Within the moon, eyes open and close
Nothing more... Nothing less
the sun will always lay to rest
The Fear of Fire
There's a dark, solemn sky that casts a light drizzle
The wild fire that was once catostrophic is now just a sizzle
The ashes float away with the winds
Everything was gone now. Every single sin.
The fire destoyed everything in sight
Anything that could've ever been right
Instead of wallowing in the past
Everything was now turned to ash
No one quite knows why fires are so greedy
They destroy everyone, the fulfilled and the needy
The flame engulfs everything evil or good
No discrimination as to what it shouldn't or should
A rose colored horizon emphasizes the smoke
That smolders and blows away all given hope
Nothing left, not even the fire is still alive
Everything ruined... inside and outside
