Just happened to come across your page.  Your daughter is in my prayers.  My son, who is now 16 months, and doing fine, was born via emergency c-section at 32 weeks due to the fact I developed HELLP syndrome.  He was 3 lbs. 4 oz.  He was intubated, given Serfactin and spent 2 weeks in NICU before he came home.  I know how hard this is for you and your family.  Please keep your spirits up.  I wish you all the best.  Sincerely, Kikuye

having to experience something like that is painful enough... alone still even more painful.... the memory and emotional aspect of it will always be there but life does go on! You'll always wonder what if and check the dates to see how old he/she would have been... but life goes on... and the joy of your present children will pull you through... be strong for them... you have to be... who else is there...that's what mommy's do!
