Welcome to Nomad's personal MindSay page!

Born in a small mining village to two N-H (Non-Hippies), she soon found she had a knack for mining diamonds and also had a poor judge of finance. She always dreamt of driving to the moon and sleeping under water. She was also slightly retarded.

This idiot savant of mining, at the age of three, was traded to a circus for some cotton candy and half a pretzel. The Ring Leader soon discovered he had the worse of that trade. From the age of three to three and three quarters she slept under the elephants' cart and was charged with the task of polishing the lions' teeth. A quarter of a year to her fourth birthday, she was abandoned on the stoop of a traveling salesman who didn't come home for seven months, as he was off selling toothbrushes in Tampa, Florida.

In the Salesman's care her teeth flourished and she learned the difference between hard and soft bristles and the fine nuanced and greatly varied gauging systems implimented and made popular since the late 60s. She still had all her baby teeth by the time she turned 18.

Once she could be on her own, she became a Gap employee and rose the ranks quickly to Lead Cashier. While in her third year of folding khakis she was approached by her N-H birth parents. They had felt guilty ever since consuming the cotton candy and half a pretzel. Upon their remeeting at the Orange Julius, they rethought the guilt and even contemplated mailing a large pretzel from The Pretzel King to the retired Ring Leader of the Seven Wonders Animal Circus. (They had been keeping in happy contact for the last twelve years.)

Soon Nomad met a young man named Chilly and after a whirlwind affair they married. Their first year together was spent digging holes in parks and church grounds, using their gifts to each other: metal detectors.

This is her story from that point on.
