Born in a small mining village to two N-H (Non-Hippies), she soon found she had a knack for mining diamonds and also had a poor judge of finance. She always dreamt of driving to the moon and sleeping under water. She was also slightly retarded.This idiot savant of mining, at the age of three, was traded to a circus for some cotton candy and half a pretzel. The Ring Leader soon discovered he had the worse of that trade. From the age of three to three and three quarters she slept under the elephants' cart and was charged with the task of polishing the lions' teeth. A quarter of a year to her fourth birthday, she was abandoned on the stoop of a traveling salesman who didn't come home for seven months, as he was off selling toothbrushes in Tampa, Florida.

In the Salesman's care her teeth flourished and she learned the difference between hard and soft bristles and the fine nuanced and greatly varied gauging systems implimented and made popular since the late 60s. She still had all her baby teeth by the time she turned 18.
Once she could be on her own, she became a Gap employee and rose the ranks quickly to Lead Cashier. While in her third year of folding khakis she was approached by her N-H birth parents. They had felt guilty ever since consuming the cotton candy and half a pretzel. Upon their remeeting at the Orange Julius, they rethought the guilt and even contemplated mailing a large pretzel from The Pretzel King to the retired Ring Leader of the Seven Wonders Animal Circus. (They had been keeping in happy contact for the last twelve years.)
Soon Nomad met a young man named Chilly and after a whirlwind affair they married. Their first year together was spent digging holes in parks and church grounds, using their gifts to each other: metal detectors.
This is her story from that point on.

Last week I listened to and participated in part of the Shiny Show.
As i walk to work every day I listen to interviews on my Mp3 player. i forgot I had downloaded the old episode onto the player. I am listening to an interview on Aboriginal art, it finishes then on comes the shiny show and who should i hear but you. It felt so special, you and others were returning from seeing a movie and here I was several months later hearting your voices in the cold Canadian Air. It was like Science fiction.

I remember that. It was fun to call in on Shiny's show. Isn't he funny?
He is funny and also a good announcer.
I studied radio announcing 35 years ago and he know when to not go over the top and he also does not take away from who he talks to.

Yes. We're sisters. =) We don't keep it secret but we also don't broadcast it everywhere. You are definitely not the last to know.
In full disclosure: Chilly is my husband, Fwiffo is my brother, Spiffyspud is my other brother here on MindSay, AuthenticSarah is another sister, so is Paths4Byzantium. SailAway is my mom. Chilly's sister and mom also have accounts but don't blog often. Katking is a brother in law. Spiffyspud's new wife is also on here. Iverness63, you know through the picture and Rebekah. A bunch of our friends blog on MindSay as well, like our very close friend AllAroundPsycho.

(c) I look forward to checking out the others in your family. I have only met one other mindsayer before krazykatlady . I met her on Facebook and invited her here. She is my cousins ex-wife and i have not seen her in 25 years. She plans to visit me and my parents next summer.

What ever happened to MrFurious?
He's doing well, last time I spoke to him. He's happy and busy. I think he's forgotten he has a blog. lol
Oh yay! Too happy and busy are the good reasons to not blog! I was hoping he didn't drop dead or anything. Thank you for the update! 
Glad I could. Next time I talk to him I will mention he's missed. =)
