Only thing I can relate to that is, my brother had hearing issues for a while in elementary school. He got his ears checked out after my mom got tired of it, and apparently he'd had rocks stuck inside them!

WOW.. really?!

Yeah. It was weird... he kept pronouncing my name wrong, for maybe 6 months!

How would rocks in his ears affect his pronunciation?

Well, someone would say my name, and he'd hear it differently, so he'd say it differently.

Haha, yeah, he did, but I guess hearing it a different way for a couple of months made him change the way he said it. For a while, we just thought he was saying it that way to make me mad
