Okay, I signed up for the limerick thing: http://www-b.oedilf.com/db/Lim.php?AuthorId=2321 there's my limerick page. I hope to get better at it, but am trying easy limericks at first.
hmm maybe it's privatized now? Oh well. I actually saved the list to my computer (I have a folder of simply movie lists). and going over it again, i have found that I have seen other movies since you posted it, most notably A Wedding which I just saw, Thieves Like Us which I saw right after Altman's death, and Ugetsu which I saw about four months ago. Les Camisards looks interesting. It may be the next one I check out.
Monsieur carlisle, i promise that somewhere on your page is a list of top 10 overlooked movies, but I cannot find the post. Well, just to let you know I tracked down The Other. However, the DVD was very scratched and finally couldn't be played 2 minutes before the movie ended. but oh well it was very interesting indeed.
Astonishingly (I can never locate old entries), I found it straight off.
I hope those last two unviewable minutes of The Other didn't include the movie's great Gotcha!
hmm funny, i searched under: movie, film, 10, ten, overlooked and still couldn't find it but that's ok.
i basically got the ending, but i'm not sure about the Gotcha moment. I may have to find a VHS copy of it!!
