Oh I know this is quite long overdue, but was tied up
with lots of things which hugged my time then.
Luckily things have improved some, so visiting blogs now.
Oh by the way, I love your intro telling some bout your family.
And how they mean the world to you. So wonderful!
Me too, my three daughters are the love of my life. It's just
the four of us now, their Dad passed away last December.
And oh yes, we have three dogs and one cat and how they
brighten up our day -- everyday! lols

i reread my intro and giggled. i wrote that at a time when we had all just gotten new vehicles. when i read it now its funny that i had to tell about my loved ones and the cars they drive hahaha.
but anyways, im sorry to hear of your loss. im very familair with how hard the first years is, but do know that it will get easier. in fact, my mom has been gone for 2 years now and im still feeling like im coming out of a depression i didnt know i was in. or at least, in the deeply.
but i know in my hear that she would not want me to drown, but to rise up. so for her i plug along. im learning the new normal and actually learning to feel happy again without guilt.
i wasnt sure about staying on mindsay because of some recent political/religious events, but i think the brunt of my anger is subsiding now. i checked out a few other blog places and they just dont feel the same as mindsay. so either i will keep searching or just hang here again when all this yuck subsides. but i did want to say hi! and thank you for stopping by

Thank you for your lovely letter. And thank you for the comfort I found in it. Yes, we are bit by bit moving on and by the wonderful grace of our good Lord we have got back our smiles... and to quote your own words 'happy again without guilt'.
Oh I will miss you if you do find another blog place. But I was like you too not so long ago.. couldn't decide about staying in mindsay. Although I have succeeded to find me a new blog home (blogspot), still I decided to keep my place here too. If however I decide to give this up, I will try to bring mindsay friends to the new blog place with a link they can easily access. Mindsay is a huge site but sometimes one gets pretty lucky and able to find nice people to build wonderful friendships with.

Well, I wouldn't really tell you to jump into blogspot quickly. Better cruise down its site and visit blogs, create friendship connections first... because that would assure you of visitors in your blog when you decide to.

he has a small hook shape at the tip of his tail
the dale comes from my dads middle name lol.
he sleeps in my bed and shares my lunch
and breakfast....and supper....and....

haha, with the exception of scooby doo, i dont know a whole lot about great danes. ive only ever been around a few. but i love animals and most are amazing.
i have 4 dogs. 2 weiners, a sheltie and a siberian husky. im working on possibly adopting one of the weiners from the puppy mill raid in west virginia. but i havent heard anything back from the shelter. im keeping my fingers crossed.
Good luck on adoption. Great Danes are the most loving of them all. They can die of a broken heart =(
