Let me see....Today we went to the racetrack and bet 6 races...My mother and I went a buck/buck...lol...Big gamblers we are..
What other exciting news on the horizon? Tomorrow evening I am going to the movies...This place is discount and the popcorn is the best I have ever tasted...
Let's see....Dad drove his car around the old racetrack just to show me how much lawn he has to cut with his riding lawnmower.
(He used to raise horses)
Another exciting tidbit...Gordie...the neighbour came over with a jar of his home made Borscht tonight. lol

I am glad that I can get on line most nights...I have one bar..It dropped out of the sky...a gift.

OMG...I thank you this mad guffawwwwww...but the time I got to Gordie's gift I realized how much I miss you. Please give Gordie a kiss for me and thank him for the laugh.
My weekend has been rather tame...Saturday I hosted a party for my son and some of his USC alumni..it was the first day of football and the hilarity was deafening at times...Sunday an old friend from Boeing had a big BBQ at his house...I felt obliged to attend...it was fun...funny you should mention Pizza because Ive had a taste for some Ludvic..I'm not really in the mood for parties tho'..I'm sooo set in my ways..I so much prefer the solitude of my own surroundings.
I love that you're in the country...it must be beautiful where you are...
Well, I'm also glad you got that one bar...I was coming on to leave you a welcome home note! Soooo, this can be it...

You know what I love the most...We can be so very honest with each other and there is so much humor in being here with my parents..I am really having a laugh..They are farm people and simple to their core..Pioneers is a word Daddy loves to use..and he always quotes these pioneer poems...Here is a good laugh for you...This is a little tidbit he gave to me yesterday as we were betting on the ponies..

"The Owner told Clarence the Clocker
The Clocker Told Fibber McGee
The Fibber of Course Passed it On to the Horse
And the Horse Told Me"

and then we bet...He had me in Stitches..

I think...if Daddy pesters me another time, I may break down and bake him a blueberry pie or at the very least get rid of his mushy bananas...hahahahahaha..which he bought at the Safeway cuz they were 50% off for the entire bag.

I love it...I'm soo happy you're spending time with your parents.  Your father sounds like a jewel...he bought the whole bag because it was 50% off!  Sounds like they're ready for banana bread!!!...and by all means, please bake him a pie as well.  Give them both a hug and a kiss from me...no need to tell them it's from me...it wouldn't matter a tinker's damn anyway.  Please continue to check in as time permits...

We baked the blueberry pie for Dad. Yes, he is a jewel.

Most people are confused about their purpose in life...somehow, I've always known mine.  If I'm not about Love, there's absolutely nothing to me at all!  I learned a long time ago, "...you don't have to go looking for love if love is where you're coming from!"

Very true, and thank you again for such wonderful wisdom; for with wisdom there is understanding and with understanding there is much love.

Have you been going through my file?   These words remind me of something I wrote a long time ago.  If you're interested, I'll find it and send you a bit of it...you'll see how similar our minds are/were working!  Could it be we have the same Spirit? 

I haven't as of yet, oh but I will. That beautiful face and spirit draws me, I am always drawn to beautiful souls.

No I didn't allow the other person access...I reason that if two or three or four people share the same eyes.....they will all see it.
I responded to the people I write to most..my family....It is funny how close you get to certain personalities...even if they were the same person...Reminds me of a ventriliquist..You have different puppets and you respond differently with each even though you are the one pulling the strings and throwing your voice...
