Suicide, a permanent solution to a temporary problem; or so it's said. I once responded, as a police officer, to a 14 year old's suicide. The rationale is never simplistic, but he left a note that he was unhappy with his mother because she had left his dad. I, as a police officer, had viewed the aftermath of many suicides; this one really got to me. I guess the only thing I could suggest to anyone who wants to help is try and get with a suicide hot line. Volunteer your services.
