I saw that you visited my blog and you lured me to come look at your profile. I love the comment about you sitting down to pee and noticed that you list under books 'The Time Travellers Wife'.
I just had to reply to that. I recently read that book under the reccomendation of my girlfriend and it was one of the most amazing books I've ever read. The fact that you have read it is great because it's more of a cult classic and not a bestseller. Go you!
Take care and have fun. ~Matt
Something in common we have... Sorry, realy lame and random and just plain not funny tonight. I loved Time Travellers Wife. Kudos to your girlfriend. I could never get any of my boyfriends to read anything I'd read. Not sci-fi/horro/whatever else they were fucking into (wierdo boys). Mebe I should date a chick... Like me... Mebe I should just date me... Oh God I need less wine. More sleep.
But yes, wicked novel? Book? Writen soemthing
Night
Hehe... sifa , my girlfriend, got me into reading. I'd only ever read a small handfull of books before and now I've read more than I ever have in my life. I'm not into all the sci-fi horror shit that most guys are into, it's just crap as far as I'm concerned, give me a love story any day!!
Ok, it's NOT the time travellers wife, but one of my favourite books, if you ever just want an easy girly read is Sophie Kinsella - 'Can you keep a secret?' - my favourite book ever. Also anything by Chuck Palahniuk - the guy that wrote fight club, if you don't know, as not a lot of people do, in my experience...
Did you mean you've written something??? I have, not a book though, just short stuff.. its just fun!
Yes, date you, your fingers will never fall asleep on you and won't bring you breakfast in bad in the morning, but hey, normal guys don't do that either!
I would say night to you, but I guess it's your morning now?? Oh well, lack of wine... ignore me!
I dunno. I don't think there's too many great guys down here. Decent even. They've all got their little catches and things I find so absolutely irritating. Or mebe I just need to suck it in and stop picking apart everything and everyone.
I pefer either love stories, comedy (Pratchet, Dahl, Milligan), some horror. But a lot of chick books. The only sci-fi author I could ever stomach was Michael Marshall Smith who's absolutely brilliant (very cool, very swav, and definately makes you think a whole heap more about everything).
I didn't really like Fight Club the book. But then again, I watched/owned the movie before I got my eyes into reading anything of his. Haven't read any of Sophie Kinsella. Probably should start reading again. Interested in this book my Mum just finished reading called "Wife Living Dangerously". Dunno if that's a subtitle to her own surrid life, but we'll see. This weekend is definately going to bring some very big hangovers and a lot of book reading (birthday celebrations).
I haven't written anything other than this blog in a very very long time. I should. I had some good ideas when I was little, but kinda stopped writing and concentrated more on school and dating (oh God, I am female after all).
I wish I could date me. I'd be able to buy everything and know I'd like it. Cook stuff and know I'd eat it. Wear things and know I'd get a good reaction. I could always have a bar fridge and kettle next to my bed... But that might get a bit messy.
It's night again here. Hurrah. Morning there.
I just started so Stop in agian and check it out!
take care and I hope that all is well!
