I think you're right about redwoodpecker.  I was thinking bipolar (in a manic state) but schizophrenia would also fit.  I did a friend's only blog pointing out his ranting entitled, "Why it's important to take your meds." He's also the same guy who told labsnaby, "I hope your babies die" when he ranted about her breastfeeding post. Apparently he was angry because it got top blogs and his post about the war in Iraq didn't.

Cat - Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers, they not only brought a smile to me, but to my Mom as well.  I couldn't even begin to explain who they came from though, she'd not get it.  Touches from friends like those you sent, were very helpful in getting us through those hard days.
