how long hav u been there. i cant imagine having my life based around my job. i guess i cant though being a chick my age in australia. what do u do with ur spare time i mean do u make any new friends there. and can u date?

I've been here just over 3 years.  The military is more than a career or a job...it's a totally different lifestyle.  You just can't quit, you're locked in until your enlistment is up.  For me that's next November (2007).  During my spare time I hang out with my friends, usually at a bar or club.  For the most part my friends are other people here in the military, but I do know a couple of locals here.  We can date, but if we date other military people we have to be careful who it is....officers can't date enlisted people and we can't date anyone in our chain of command.  I prefer to stay away from other girls in the military....too much drama.  So what's australia like?

yeah i can imagine it would be the same as dating someone you work with just with 3 times the problems. australia is just home for me. Ive never been anywhere else so i dont know how to say how it differs from places u know. just from viewing american tv shows ill say we're no where near as religious, our capital cities arent as crowded, and everyone here except me seems to be nuts about one football code or another. i live in australias capital city canberra, though here u'de be hard pressed to find a building over 5 stories high unless u knew where to look. have u ever smelt a eucalypt tree. it smells like home to me but i guess a lot of other people around the world hav never even heard of it. i dont know what else did u want to know?

Sounds pretty cool....the US is getting way to crowded now days.  I've actually heard of the eucalypt tree and there used to  be a grove of them near one of the places I grew up in California.  I love their smell!  So why do you call yourself the corsetqueen? 

I LOVE corsets and when my boyfriend made my hotmail account for me he put that as my name sort of as a joke and it just stuck. why r u hitman? i guess it would have something to with ur career. i didnt even know eucalypts grew anywhere else. theyre like the most common tree ova here. did u used to live in the city when u lived in america.

Hitman comes from when I first started to play games online and it sorta stuck.  I've lived in the city growin up, but my parents retired to a small country town in Montana, so I'll probably go back there when I get out...at least for a little bit.

You're welcome!  Italy itself rocks...I just wish I had more time off to enjoy it and not have to put up with all the BS that comes with being in the military.
