Hi Gary!  I just saw your comment over on my sister ( barryk  ) 's blog and wanted to come say hello.  Fascinating that your were in the stunt business, that had been a strong dream of mine when I was in high school, but the more I learned about it, the harder it seemed for an outsider to break into.  I remember my first visit to LA in '79 and finding out which bar was a locals hangout near the Burbank studios and going there 3 nights in a row hoping to meet someone who might give me some encouragement.  Since I'm now 47 and NOT arthritic, I guess I can be glad that career never panned out!  Your book sounds great and I'll have to make arrangement to get a copy - I hope to try a visit to Austin later this month (I'm between jobs and going on a road trip to see Barry in Denver then her kids up in Seattle, then down to LA where a buddy is an actor/caterer, LOL!.

As a "True friend" I had hoped that you would "Stand up for me, as I have, and will, always do for you!

I 'Know' that I said that I 'would understand, and I would have, but not in the way that 'you thought I would,
for I will "Never play second fiddle to others, and I would have 'resented' anyone who would expect that 
of me.

Now I will 'certainly look at the 'films that you sent to me the other morning! I had no 'intention of 'doing so, and had been walking around all day, with a feeling of hurt, like an 'indignant' meower! You picked me up, and have made me 'joyful about our friendship' once again! And "Joy" is what I want to 'return to you!

May I say 'I think that you are 'A King' among men! As  I say, I know that I am a 'Controversial figure, but now I know that you will "Stand Up For Me!" And that is what I had to see! As in the past, I will always "Stand Up For You" where ever I 'catch' apathy, or descention!

Just woke up Gar-Bear... Went to anxiously see my 'picture' on your page, and 'behold, there was no picture, but just my 'first attempt to access mindsay. (The one with a butterfly theme) If you scroll down the page a bit, and then click on "neptune" you will be brought to my "up to date'" blog, and then note exactly how they spelled "neptune" (with non caps) They did this for me hastily at the Apple store. I prefer a Capital N for neptune, but I am not techi talented in this way, and it is to unimportant to worry about. That is, I am 'sure that my 'ego' can handle it, since so much is always typed without capital letters, on the internet!

Anyway, I just woke up, and I don't want to confuse you, asi sit here yearning for my morning cup of tea!

If you "DO" want my picture to appear, (I know that I am controversial) than you 'only need to type in
neptune. You may not even have to remove shannonspeaks to do so, or you may. If you need to remove shannonspeaks to aquire neptune, then just 'Block it by going to "Account Settings" at thebottom of the page, and then go back to where it says "Add A Friend" under your Profile! The "Picture" of me in the lilac sweater will appear! Voila!

If you want to leave it 'this way' as I said, I will understand. Because of my position on Organized Religion, and the fact that you may have some 'Stuffy' friends, that don't believe that 'everyone is entitled to their opinion. I certainly would be "Proud" to see my picture there, but I don't want to 'Hurt you in any way, and you know your community of friends that you 'actually do see' so I will leave it up to you.

By the way, Good Morning Pal!  I hope it stops raining there soon!

Gary! What are you up to? Fill me in!

I'm dropping in at your place to tell you I enjoyed browsing through the filmmaker page.  I took the liberty of sending the link to my son because I knew he would enjoy it.  He is an actor and writer who, although he has had no commercial/monetary success, really loves acting, writing and directing.  He's involved with "storefront theatre" in Chicago. 

And regarding the book:   "break a leg"..... or is it....."arm" ?  (I know that wouldn't be stuntman buz)
