I am from Denver, Colorado-USA and 26 years old.I believe in having an open mind and open ears when it comes to music appreciation, interpretation, and song creation. For this reason I have long since hated the system, (or is it?) by which we attempt to put music into "Genres". Furthermore, my intrigue in less "conventional" harmonies and song structures, is often not taken as well by the majority of others.....at least not at first. My work has been described as dissonant, out of time, polyrhythmic, a child messing around on the piano, and there are many more flavorful descriptions than that.Selected Compositions

| The folks over at General Mills have pulled a fast one on me, and I don't like it! Being that we have a full week off, I decided to do a little grocery shopping, and upon entering the cereal isle I was blindsided by a wall of BULLSHIT! Well, it was really more of a small section of shelf, but its bullshit nonetheless! They've gone and completely changed one of the greatest cereals of all time: French Toast Crunch. The original French Toast Crunch was little, chunky toast-shaped pieces of deliciousness that filled my belly with happiness. Now they've changed it to a virtual twin of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and in more than just shape and texture, but flavor as well. Its a completely different cereal now, and one not warranting any space on my shelf, dagnabit! (And yes, I recognize the irony that I'm upset over it being changed to resemble the cereal it logically should have resembled in the first place). | |
