I am from Denver, Colorado-USA and 26 years old.I believe in having an open mind and open ears when it comes to music appreciation, interpretation, and song creation. For this reason I have long since hated the system, (or is it?) by which we attempt to put music into "Genres". Furthermore, my intrigue in less "conventional" harmonies and song structures, is often not taken as well by the majority of others.....at least not at first. My work has been described as dissonant, out of time, polyrhythmic, a child messing around on the piano, and there are many more flavorful descriptions than that.Selected Compositions

Love you
. We went to see "Departed" tonight- interesting movie, lots of big names. The "Fractal Murder" author has a new book out in paperback, too- Janet turned me on to it when we ventured over to B&N after the movie. The new 14 cinema, stadium seating theater opens next weekend.... cool, huh?it is 5:15 a.m. here - I should be getting ready for school. Bet you may be up already, too (6:15 there?). Finished up the upstairs bathroom- tiled, sealed, shower curtain up, painted the wall lavenderish to match the new shower curtain.... Dad did most of the work, he is amazing.
Our new group of kids at school seem polite, interested and productive- quite refreshing. . . of course the honeymoon is raging, so I'll reserve comments for a few days, anyway. I need 48 hours in every day to actually accomplish all that needs to be done!
Hope all is well with you. . . bear with the feelings of inadequacy - the first steps to growth can be painful- just think of all you have to learn and do in the years ahead! Exciting first days- you should journal here- just brief entries about your day- I'll love to keep up with you, anyway!
