*giggles* Hey, why don't you throw your support behind Ron Paul instead of Obama? Okay, I'm bad, but honestly, who asks that? 

It was a fair question. I gave a fair answer. It was only about a paragraph or so. I know about Paul. Have for many years. His movement will need legs beyond his candidacy, though. 72 yr. old gynecologists seldom become enduring galvanizing figures.

I guess after my experiences with the person who posed the question, I am unfairly biased and jaded. Plus, after the post she put up called, "The Difference Between Ron Paul and Obama" soon after your reply I had to roll my eyes.  Oh well, that's why you and Resa are the good guys, you have an easier time staying objective.

take it from me, no one is more surprised than me that I'm supporting a lefty Dem for the President. I read the man's book and have heard him speak and I detect none of the typical arrogant zeal of the left. I feel he is a once-in-a-generation type leader that we simply cannot afford to not follow. He will give both sides in a negotiation a fair shake.

Well my candidate dropped out.  I was in support of Kucinich. I was hoping he could have garnered a little more support.  Now I have to choose between Hillary, Obama and Edwards.  People hate Hillary and if she is chosen as the dem candidate, she'll never beat the Republicans because people would be voting against Hillary more than voting for a Republican candidate. Edwards can't seem to get people to back him. Obama is the only one I think would be able to defeat the Republicans. I think this next administration needs to concentrate on smoothing over our foreign relations. I think either Obama or Edwards can do this.  We also need someone who can galvanize the country and uplift morale. Obama can defintely do this.

Have you seen Kucinich's wife? That man doesn't need to be President. He's already won the lottery.

Hey there...I can't see your recent blog entry (although a preview is in my inbox).  Could I be the one you blocked?  I don't recall saying or doing anything unseemly.

You? Hell no! The individual I blocked is some guy, perhaps college age, who just annoyed me once to often is all. I had the post on "family" only as to who could see it. I was unaware that "previews" went to the inboxes of folks in other categories( you appear in "online contacts", which I read as "friends"). Sorry. All of my posts will be back to full world starting with the next one. :-)

Happy 50th Dev!  My own bro will celebrate the same tomorrow.  How come all you guys are getting older, and yet us gals stay the same age?  hehe!   Hope you have a hellava celebration!! 

I guess it's since Jack Benny died and forgot to tell where he left all of that "eternally 39" he used to use. Maybe Dick Clark knows.

Snuggs is telling us all about your birthday. Happy 50th!! Your other half is a fairly new friend to me, as is Snuggs. I like them a lot already. I read the posts you have on your site that were showing and I must say, I like the way you write and think, so far. I hope your birthday is filled with joy and laughter and all good things.
