You had me hunting, trying to find something offensive!  Still no clue.  So much happening here, no time to post.... dinner's ready... type at ya later LOL

I don't know .... I was having a paranoia day yesterday ..... thinking I was offending everyone .... lol .... sorry ..... it's just me being weird ......

I've got to go get the leftover soup on myself ..... it has been brutal cold ..... the wind is killer! 

Enjoy your evening ..... !  I was up half the night last night ..... Dave tossing and turning with a headache ..... by the time he fell asleep the dogs were ready to get up and if that is in play there will be no rest for the weary ..... me ..... I drove by the doctors office three times today trying to get the lady I drive for there ..... just absentmindedly drove on by.  And she never said a word .... just let me .... lol ..... omg ..... felt so stupid.  Distracted big time for some reason.

So bottom line, just ignore me ..... lol ....

My Internet provider was down last night so I started watching the DVD series my son bought me for Christmas
"Planet Earth" by the BBC. As I watched the first 3 hours I kept thinking of the amazing places you go and where you live and how nice it is to share with us.

My travel is very limited. I have no car and rarely even get 2 days off together. People like you make it possible for people like me to vicariously go so many places.

Thanks Ray, I really needed some "grounding" tonight- your thoughtful words brought tears to my eyes.  I LOVE the Planet Earth series.... and you are right- I have been very fortunate to get to enjoy so many beautiful places... and  I will enjoy sharing them even more.  

I have only seen the first two episodes but it was mind boggling. I watched the snow leopard scene and then walked in a mile in the face of a snowstorm on the way to work.

Hi!  40 below- wow- where are you?  I think I would stick to the cabin with electricity for awhile, myself.  Although I do see where it enhances appreciation and refocuses on the essentials to do without the conveniences.  Woodstove or fireplace for warmth, I assume?

Please, please, please understand I would like to keep my whereabouts a secret but you can all most guess where I am at. There are alot of Timberwolves here.  I only have a fireplace there. Thanks for understanding cllecr..    Timberwolf +++

Fair enough.  I have friends who homesteaded in northern Montana - they access the internet with a satellite dish... you too?
I once had a student whose name was Timber Wolfe - he died young, sadly. 
Did some research in Yellowstone last summer- looking at the impact of wolf reintroduction there.
