Sir, I have a question for you.  I think that you had said in one of your blogs that you are or have been a minister of God.  I just heard on the news that a large number of black ministers are upset with Obams for distancing himself from his former minister because of the anti-American,  and racist comments.  Does that mean that those ministers preach the same things in their churchs?  That they have the same feelings of racism and anti-Americanism as Obama's minister?  If that is true, that troubles me very, very much.  In all the churchs that I have been to in my lifetime and I am 57, I have never heard a minister of God preach those things.  Am I naive?  Is that what goes on in black churchs?  I hope not.  Is that what Jesus would want?  Troubled in Mo.  Judy

My dear Sister, let me start out by saying this. I am an ordained Minister and Pastor of a Baptist Church and I'm also soon to be 65 years old, and come up in the old school of Religion. Nowhere have I ever heard more hatred and bigotry preachd from God's Holy Mountain called the Pulpit. Christ only preached Love and Forgivness to those who dispise you and hurt you and use you. The Command was to Love thy neighbor and you enemy also.

 

When you get Pastors who have their own agenda and they realize they have the ability to influence the masses with their poison, the Bible calls it "damnable doctrine". NO Black Pastors don't preach this to their flocks and I've been in church from birth and I've never heard any of this. Radicals preach this of messages causing many people to go astray. You see this is what happens when people go to church and listen to the Preacher and leave their Bibles home. What am I saying here? If the preacher preach, one shouldbe able to follow him through the Scriptures to make sure he's telling the truth rather then take him at face value.

 

There's no way that Ministers and politics mix. Years ago Thomas Jefferson said "Church and State" should never mix but be seperated. I would urge you if you will to Listen to some Black radio Ministries and you'll not hear what you hear from Obama's Pastor. Thats not Gosple.
