Re: Bihu's Wiki Page
Just checking in to see if you had anything new. We came back from Tibet a few days ago and I wanted to tell you how I thought of you quite a few times while there. Why? Well, because the Tibetan people are quite interesting and I imagined you making wonderful portraits of them, especially the older ladies with their wrinkled faces. I would like to send you some photos that I took - they're not the greatest - but perhaps they will inspire you to do some drawings? If you want them, email me at imaglobalgal at gmail dot com
Take care!

Re: Bihu's Wiki Page
Hello!! Thanks for the comments on my blog. So far your stories are amazing. You are a wonderful writer! (Among other talents!) I am so glad that you and the kids are doing well in the city. I have to admit a great deal of envy at the experience you are having - forming friendships, learning Mandarin, raising your kids in a multi-cultural way. (I too am learning Mandarin and having an interesting experience, but I suppose the perspective of an American Mom is fascinating to me, as that is something I have not experienced.) Your story of the miscarriage tugged at my heart, I am very sorry. Circumstances were such that we didn't really get to know each other but I could tell right away that you are a special person. I will continue to follow your blog - I am excited to hear about your experiences! Oh and I meant to to tell you the photos are great!!!

I moved my blog to a new site before I moved backed to China, not realizing that wordpress is blocked within China. I have decided to update both blogs - i.e. I will be moving my wordpress posts to Mindsay and updating both sites with the same info, so you should be able to read the Mindsay blog within China.

Take Care!

Re: Bihu's Wiki Page
I've been reading your blog, as I have time, and laughing my tail off at some of your tales of adventure.  I remember that storm coming out of nowhere for about half an hour.  I was on my bike, heading home from XinChengPu when it hit... And of course, I'd decided to go the long way because it looked as though the rain would hold off. Hah!

I like reading your comments...  Makes me feel less guilty that I never put in the effort with my fellow expats that I have with the Chinese - Especially those I knew were cool.  Sometimes, it's easy to believe that we are all victims of circumstances.  To a certain extent, we are, but we get to choose what we do with those circumstances and I know I haven't always made the right choices.

It's interesting, this whole blogging world is sort of giving us a second chance to get to know one another...  And it allows for shyness.  This is always a welcomed benefit.

You know me too well...

After I finish posting my stories, I'll probably try my hand at normal blogging, if there is such a thing, but I may be totally incapable of pulling off anything "normal" with my background.

Glad to hear from ya!

Hey

Thanks for the email

I have been waiting for a blog from you since I first found out what "blog" means

As long as you keep writing, I'll keep reading.

I can't wait for the next entry.

Maybe I will be inspired to actually use my mindsay membership to write my own blog

-somehow I doubt it
