Testimonial: Even if AAP didn't pay me to leave this positive and uplifting message about being his friend I would have probably thought about doing it. Now that I'm here I'm drawing a blank. But let me assure you, that AAP isn't an ass, nor a meanie, nor a jerk, as I've been hearing circulate amongst my circles. And yes, I have been starting those rumors- but let me state it loud and clear, here and now, that I hope you only half-heartedly believed me because AAP is mostly never those things. Unless you count the times he is. But those don't count. Especially here on his Wiki page, which he fought long and hard for. He fought and bled so that we may also experience the freedom of the Wiki page. For that is what makes this country great. The freedom to bad-mouth my best friend. The freedom to laugh at the little boy in the fountain... probably feeling a little tingling in his nether-regions, but doing it with a blurry smile on his face, nonetheless. And that's because of the sacrifice that AAP has made for us. And I for one am greatful. Greatful and hungry. Maybe I will make some pasta tonight.

Aim at the sun, and you may not reach it; but your arrow will fly far higher than if aimed at an object on a level with yourself.
Joel Hawes
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
Marianne Williamson, "A Return to Love," 1992
Pain makes man think. Thought makes man wise. Wisdom makes life endurable.

but then I found that and nothing beats a tiny rocking hamster.
Hope you had a good day!
(For some reason, I said that in a sing-songy voice in my head.)
