I worked one summer many years ago in the Dells at the Wax Museum. Was a tour guide and had to dress up as the town gorilla as well. Best steak sandwich I ever had was at a little bar just down from the wax museum. Had cheedar cheese on it. I will never forget that sandwich, grilled right behind the bar. Be well, Chaps

Which bar?  Monks makes the best burgers around, O'conners was sold, can't remember the name right off, but it's near where I work.  Nig's, well, I doubt Nig's has changed at all.

I don't live in WI but did spend the summer of 1976 there. Monk's sounds real familiar. And it wasn't a hamburger it was a steak sandwich with cheese down from Madame Toussea's Museum toward the river. Probably torn down by now. It was real good. I dated the police chiefs daughter, Terri Zamzow I believe was her name. Long time ago, I was 21. And we really didn't date I guess. I was only there 3 months.

 

As a Chaplain I too see and hear it all. I was very concerned too much of this minors life was being revealed and that is never a good idea on an open blog like this, especially when she is so vulnerable. But you had some good advice. She is in my/our prayers.

At least she and other kids arn't posting their phone numbers and addresses here anymore. A few years back we had a bunch of kids posting info that would lead to their homes in a little bit of no time.
