Tim Burton was born on the 25th August 1958 the son of Bill and Jean Burton he has one brother called Daniel.

He has done such films as Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenweenie, Vincent, Edward Scissor Hands, Big Fish, and his latest accomplishment, The Corpse Bride.
For the Nightmare Before Christmas he used clay figurines, but for the Corpse Bride he used what are known as animated dolls, they moved on cam and other systems. Corpse Bride is based on a romanian folk tale. It is set in Victorian times.

Is that really how big the clay dolls were that were used in the nightmare before christmas were?...dang, i wonder how long it took to make them.
hey, yeah, they had them on display here at a local museum. They were pretty huge, and the actual sets for the dolls were even bigger. It was pretty cool to see, I was not expecting to see them, but they made my day =)
