The Dresden Dolls
The Dresden Dolls is a Brechtian Cabaret band formed in 2000 by Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione after the latter witnessed Amanda performing at a Halloween party. The band was named after the porcelain dolls made in the city of Dresden, Germany, and for the bombing off the same city in 1945.
