Snakes
Snakes are carnivorous, and able to swallow prey whole because their upper and lower jaws are not rigidly connected. Following consumption of prey a snake becomes torpid (inactive, sluggish) whilst digestion takes place, this process varies in time and the snake absorbs everything of the prey but claws and hair. However, if disturbed during the digestion process, snakes have been known to regurgitate their meal so that they can get away.
All snakes have ribs attached to a flexible backbone, and their fluid movement is the result of rhythmic flexing, done in segments throughout the length of the body. Some use rectilinear progression, and propel themselves along the ground via their stomach muscles, whilst others use a horizontal undulatory progression, which is posteriorly flexing in stages, similar to the concertina motion, i.e. one side flexes, the other side compresses. The same applies vertically allowing the snake to not be pressed into thermal contact with the surface.
Contrary to appearance, snakes are also not charmed by flute music, because they have no ears and cannot hear sound. They do, however, see movement with blinker vision (extent of vision dependant on snake type), and detect movement by vibrations, and use their forked tongues to smell scent particles in the air.
Snakes are very beautiful, interesting, and often misunderstood creatures. They are often used symbolically to represent evil or the taboos of sex in many cultures and as a result some people are very superstitious of snakes. An interesting fact that some of you may not have realized is that all snakes are carniverous. If you look at their adaptations, you'll see that snakes are fascinating creatures..~blackmamba

I loved my snakes (RIP) and I hope to have more soon
I've noted all the programming conversation...
Maybe if you set text color for white or another colour that reads easily on top of your background?
Just a thought... there seem to be some built in weirdities in the CSS basic sheet according to a scan I did with a verifier toolbar but I don't know enough yet to fully appreciate the issues!
Nice start to an interesting page!
I think to morrow, I'll be contacting the guys to let them know that the elements they provided to change the colors of the text in the comment section doesn't work.
They placed that a couple of days after I suggested it. lol
/* Div */
#page div, #page td {
color:#ffffff;
}
#page b {color:#ffffff;}
div.sig {color:#888888}
Now the colors are variable...
LOL!
I do that to disable certain things without taking off the whole code. LOLYou'll start to see things like:
#pcontent {
background:#OMGWTF;
color:#LOLOMG;
border:2px solid #HAHAHA;
font-family:verdana,verdana,verdana,'verdana i said and nothing else',verdana,verdana,sans-serif;
font-size:92%;
Yeah! lol But when you see #pwned, it's probably ME! lol
