that's grandmaster flash...rapper's delight...foundation of rap and hiphop as we know it today. he birthed em all 
well in nyc, it's always been about jay-z and nas, but nas has always hungout in the shadows...everyone says jay over nas, but i love them both, i don't think most people can get down with nas, esp on his first album.
