Ringo Starr is my favorite Beatle because he's a drummer, he has a low voice when he sings and he is so damn AWESOME!!!! I LOVE RINGO

When my son was about 3 (he's 20 now), I turned him on to J,P,G & R, and shortly afterwards, I started showing him off. When a Beatles song would come on, I'd tell everyone to watch and then I'd ask him, "Hey Philip, who's that on the radio?" He'd listen for a short second and would say "John Lennon" or "Paul McCartney" depending on whose song it was. To him it was understood that it was the Beatles. The first time it was a George Harrison song, it stumped him. He could recognize it was the Beatles, but had no idea who was singing. It cracked me up, to see a 3-yr old get that "short-circuited brain" look. Now he writes his own songs. Some are beautiful, some are quirky, and some are like the Ramones meet the Beatles. It's way too cool!

The beatles are soooo fucking over rated.

I agree about Elvis, but if you don't like the Beatles, you must just be too young - or belligerent. None of the bands you do love would be what they were if not for the Beatles.

Actaully, Im more into blues... than rock.

I think the white album and Abby Road have a right to be overrated.
