Re: Science
I'm not purely religious person. People gathers informations, proofs from science because we know it can answers a lot of questions from things we see and feel. But sometimes also, we wonder why cant science explain some phenomenon, like ESP's. The moment we get informations it is also the moment we forget what we believe, embracing the knowledge we gather from science without thinking where it came from. Have you wonder where science came from, i have form a theory in my mind so as not to forget that there is God, and that is Science made by God to create everything.

Re: Science
Science cannot explain a phenomenon if there is no material evidence for its existence.  Since there is no material evidence for ESP, no evidence based theoretical mechanism for it, and ample evidence of charlatans, hoaxes, and frauds associated with it, the most rational view on it is doubt that it exists.  It's how we judge our reality.  We don't assume that our car broke down due to a gremlin, even if someone told us this was the case.  We would need some objective material evidence to accept an idea so far outside the norm.

When I wonder where science came from, I usually think back on the evolution of rational thought and the development of the scientific method and scientific materialism was a great achievement of human thought and in many respects led to the Age of Enlightenment which created the environment which allowed my nation to be born.  I am proud of science and we owe our comforts, our accomplishments, and our freedom to the scientific way of thinking.  You can believe that science is a blessing from a higher being if you like.  However, due to the reasons illustrated in my first paragraph, I think such a proposal is unlikely and unnecessary.

Science is amazing. So fascinating. I don't see how anyone can deny that, and deny all facts. We are made of cells, not god
