Born here, lived here all my life. It's not a perfect country but so are the rest around the globe. They all have their wars and internal strife, their own brand of graft and corruption, biased politics and politicking, the good and the bad in their citizens -- so do we. 
But why do our foul-ups and failures get higher mileage on the world page?! Because we're a country of contradictions, maybe -- but so is America or Africa or India. We all know it's an imperfect world and in it imperfect people. But each country has its own distinct beauty and exotic quality of life and people and which we can all appreciate, enjoy, and share. These are gifts from a good God. Let's try not to dwell on the negative issues or aspects of our respective imperfect cultures and people further adding to this 'craziness' we see so much around us. I sure am getting sick and tired of hearing all that ugly stuff. Ugh! There's so much good and positive things we can give and share with the world, in turn they with us. Why not center our energies, emotions, intelligence and knowledge on these? 
Hint: map tells the country should be famous due to its form; country with a lots of beautiful sites and places; warm people and very hospitable; its where U live; it's Philippines......congrats... huh?..WHEN? possible?
