Nathan Fillion
"I've always fantasized about being on TV. And I was. Then I fantasized about being in the movies. What could be better than captain of a space ship? I get to ride horses, shoot guns, have adventures ..."
Best known as Captain Malcom 'Mal' Reynolds on the cult TV show Firefly (created by Joss Whedon), don't be surprised if Nathan Fillion soon becomes more of a household name.
So, what's Nathan Fillion up to now?
If the rumors prove true, Nathan will be moving to Wisteria Lane to join the cast of Desparate Housewives this fall playing Dana Delaney's much younger husband.Premiered on April 15, 2007, Nathan starred as lead Alex Tully in DRIVE! The show was a lot like 24 crossed with LOST and loaded with mystery and suspense. Broadcast by FOX, DRIVE was canceled after only four episodes aired (six episodes were shot before cancelation) and the network promises to air the final episodes sometime in July 2007 or will air them exclusively online. DRIVE is all about a group of ordinary people who are asked to participate in an illegal cross-country automobile race. First prize is $32 million. Each character has their own reasons for joining the race and has personal obstacles to face. Nathan's character, Alex, joins the race in an effort to find/rescue his kidnapped wife. In the show Nathan drives a tan 1972 Ford F-100 and a black 1970 Dodge Challenger. Nice.

No, I do not personally know Nathan Fillion and I haven't met him. Yet. If I ever do, I'm sure it'll take place during a convention and it'll be all "Hi, there, like what you do" with him saying "thanks, Val" and then it'll be on to the next fan. Whenever I meet actors I like, that's usually how it goes, but every once and a while I'll get a moment with them. I'm not a big autograph hound, what I do is collect stories from famous or semi-famous people I meet -- stories like the time I met George Takei (Mr. Sulu of Star Trek fame)...
It happened at Gen-Con in Milwaukee and I went with a group of friends who all loved to dress up in medieval garb (except for me -- let's just say it made going to Burger King very interesting). One of my girlfriends in particular wore a very revealing corset/bodice and her skirt was low on her hips enough to give her added clevage from behind. She was a big gal and usually most people noticed her ample bosom, but something about her bottom caught Takei's attention and he slapped her on the rump! It was so unexpected. Almost rude. But incredibly funny. Like dominos falling one after the other, a giggle-loop spread throughout the crowd. I will never forget the day Sulu slapped my friend's ass!

I have no idea who this man is, by the way, but that is why I am going to read all of the information that you have provided =) Thanks!
Don't worry if you aren't that familiar with Nathan Fillion yet, I have a feeling he'll soon become a household name among us sci-fi/horror fans. I really think Nathan is really funny and should also star in a few more comedies. He's got that "guy next door turned superhero" look. I could imagine him as a young Han Solo or Green Latern.
He recently appeared in the fall finale of LOST in the episode called "I Do" where he played a police officer who married Kate.

I'm now seeing other people make wiki pages for their favorite actors and actresses, too. So now I don't feel too much like a stalker
Honey, you never were!

Hey, I added a link about Nathan from an Italian website. Besides a silvery look, someone out there picked a lovely lime and lemon theme to accent Nathan's blue eyes in a way I didn't catch. I like how other people notice things like that, too!
