- FIRST ALBUM COVER, I brought you my bullets, You brought me your love.Recorded on EYEBALL RECORDS. Featuring "Demolition Lovers" (hence my user name), "Vampires Will Never Hurt You", "Cubicles" and many more. This is the best album I've ever heard. No one will ever top this. Not even MCR themselves. It's creative, the lyrics are AMAZING, the songs will be stuck in your head all day and it honestly will just change your life forever. Definetely one of the best albums ever made, if not the best.
Totally underrated. But I kind of like it like that. If this album became really mainstream...I think I'd be annoyed.
*My Chemical Romance*
ABOUT THE BAND:
My Chemical Romance (MCR) is made up of Gerard Way (lead vocals), Mikey Way(Gerard's brother, who plays bass), Ray Toro(lead guitar), Frank Iero( rhythm guitar) and Bob Bryar(drums)
All of the members come from New Jersey, except Bob-who is from Chicago.
They got their (amazingly cool) name from a book written by Irvine Welsh, titled Ecstasy: Three Tales of a Chemical Romance.
MCR was formed by Gerard and ex-drummer Matt Pelissier.
MCR is often classified as punk-rock, pop-rock, emo and even...Vampire Rock.
MCR is a truely talented band. Definetly the BEST "emo" band I've ever heard. They're innovators and they are so creative. A lot of people saw them live when they opened for Green Day, on the American Idiot tour.
Their first album was released on JUNE 23RD, 2002 and their second (and more well-known) album was released JUNE 8, 2004.
The track listing for I Brought You My Bullets... goes as follows:
- Romance
- Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For the Two Of Us
- Vampires Will Never Hurt You
- Drowning Lessons
- Our Lady of Sorrows
- Headfirst For Halos
- Skylines and Turnstiles
- Early Sunsets over Monroeville
- This is the Best Day Ever
- Cubicles
- Demolition Lovers
And the track listing for Sweet Revenge...:
- 1. Helena
- 2. Give 'Em Hell, Kid
- 3. To The End
- 4. You Know What They Do to Guys like Us In Prison
- 5. I'm Not Okay (I Promise)
- 6. Ghost of You
- 7. The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You
- 8. Interlude
- 9. Thank You for The Venom
- 10. Hang 'Em High
- 11. It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Fucking Deathwish
- 12. Cemetery Drive
- 13. I Never Told You What I Do for a Living
- 14. Bury Me In Black (Japanese Bonus Track)
MCR will be releasing a dvd/cd called Life on the Murder Scene, sometime in 2006.
They will also be releasing dolls and already have come out with tons of new merchandise, such as bags, patches, pins, shirts, calendars and more...
Please check out any MCR album. I promise you will NOT regret it!
