The thing about Be As You Are is once you write an album about realizations, finding a new way to live, it changes how you do this."

This was something he wrote after releasing a very personal album called Be as You Are in 2005. It's a CD full of songs that he wrote, and most of them are only recorded with him accompainied by a guitar. These songs are about his life in the Carribbean and Virgin Islands. Kenny is a very personal guy and often goes down to the islands to "recharge his batteries" after a long tour. The islands are his home away from home, and he finds peace and relaxation every time he goes down there.
