Hello Kitty

Introduction

In 1974 Sanrio's Hello Kitty was created.  In 1980, Ms. Yamaguchi Yuko had been handed down the beloved feline's development.  Since then, incredible new designs kept arriving.  For example, the Standing Kitty, the Piano Playing Kitty, and the Monotone series.  Ms. Yamaguchi Yuko creates all the designs by herself.  Since the 1970's many American singers, artists, and celebrities have supported Hello Kitty.  There are many merchandises around suitable for all ages, not just for younger audiences.

Did You Know?

• Hello Kitty got her name for the story of Alice in Wonderland.  There was a white cat which was named Kitty inside the story. 

• The first source of inspiration to create Hello Kitty's character was to create a character that related to people's lives.  That would explain why her character is very sweet and friendly to everyone.  The only difference is that Ms. Yamaguchi Yuko wanter her to be better in every aspect, in which she can be a role model to her fans.  The result was that Hello Kitty's fans can have a positive personal development such as their characters and lifestyle. 

• Hello Kitty's popularity continually rises because of how she constantly changes with the times.

• Hello Kitty has a mouth, but we did not draw it. If we have drawn her mouth, it would be so easy to read her emotions. We felt it would be better to keep people in mystery, so you could guess and create her feelings on your own.

Hello Kitty's Family

Kitty White, also known as Hello Kitty was born on November 1^st.  That makes her a scorpio.  She lives in London, England with her family.  She has alot friends at school that she shares many adventures with.  Hello Kitty's hobbies include traveling, music, reading, eating yummy cookies her twin sister Mimmy bakes, and best of all making new friends.  As Hello Kitty always says, you can never have too many friends.  Hello Kitty's blood type is A[negative].  Her height is the same as five apples.  Her weight is the same as three apples.  She is good at baking cookies, and loves her mother's apple pie.  Hello Kitty's favourite word is friendship.  Hello Kitty loves collecting cute things which include; sweets, stars and goldfish.
