Frasier

The ole man on the top hugging the dog.  He's really a great guy.  I met him in person.  He bought me and my friend drinks at his local pub everytime we showed up.  He likes peeling those little bingo type little bar games when he's there.  He also invited us back to his house to visit his wife and family.  We sat up playing cards, upstairs.  Then, went downstairs to the bar, where he fixed a really great drink.  It became a usual visit.  I'm was never sure what the big deal with my friend nudging me, was.  He'd say, "Ask him what he does for work," teasing the guy.  I'd say, "Fine, What do you do for work?."  He'd say, "Nothing much, I am a retired police officer."  Little did I know, years later, I'd be visiting friends who had the tv on the show, Frazier.  There was the man I hung out with.  But, the other thing was, I was walking up the stairs to meet his daughters.  They were getting ready for bed.  On the way up, I saw pictures of my high school friends.  I couldn't believe it.  One, was a gorgeous guy who broke his neck in football.  Poor guy had to wear a cage screwed to his skull through his skin through most of high school.  He went to school, bravely, every day.  He's a really nice guy.  I also hung out with his sister, all the time.  We had close friends in common. I was always invited to her parties.  (My parent's wouldn't let us party at their house.  As a matter of fact, we couldn't go out, period. I had to lie to go anywhere.   It's a funny world.  Well, the bottom line is, he's a great guy.  He's a pleasure, down to earth and truly funny.  He was cracking jokes and teasing every time we spent with him.  He was the center of our night, even though I had no clue who he was. 

It's a funny account, really.  He's a really wonderful guy.
