France

Oui, tres bien!! I missed this one, but it's great to see the maps. I've been trying to figure out the different regions and which areas I might want to go to when I go to France next time.

Definitely go to the French Alps =) They are fantastic, and Alsace is a cute region! Everyone seems to love the Riviera, but it is not my thing. I really enjoyed Burgundy because they had so many wine/grape fields! If you get a chance, rent a bicycle to take a ride through there. Don't forget your map though

don't forget the map!! ha ha. Yeah, actually I'm very interested in the Riviera. Alps scare me.  I was planning my trip to france in my head yesterday and it doesn't look like I'll want to go outside of Paris... I may, though. I'm just a chicken. poullet!

The rest of France is so beautiful though! aww, you have to go outside of Paris =) It also depends on what time of year you go. If you go during the holiday season, DEFINITELY make a trip to Alsace. If you go past the holiday season, but still during the winter, then go to the Alps. If you go during the Spring, then visit Burgundy. Paris is good, well, year-round, I guess. There is plenty to do there, as you know

Well, I speak absolutely NO French and it isn't similar enough to Spanish or Portuguese for it to help... sooo...

 

I do know bow chicka bow bow, though!

Hey, French is a lot closer to Spanish than you would think =]

Je pense = Yo pienso
Je suis = Yo soy
Je sais = Yo se
Je vais = Yo voy
Je travaille = Yo trabajo
J'entends = Yo entiendo
Je comprends = Yo comprendo

And heaps more! I have not even reached the nouns yet! =]

But in Spanish, Yo pense means "I thought" in past tense.

 

And the Yo soy and Yo se are really confusing in French. There's nothing there to tag your mind.

 

Example:

• stalactites grow on the roof of a cave because the roof is the ceiling. Thus the "c" in the word.
• stalagmites grow on the ground of a cave because of the "g" in the word.

Help me out with the French-- if there are ways to link it to Spanish, I would have no problem.

Well, I am Latino, I speak Spanish kinda fluently, I guess! Haha -- but believe it or not, I speak more French. Or at least, I feel more confident with speaking French. I lived in Germany for three years, but I know, like, very, very, very little German lol

German's difficult. What with piling the verbs at the end of the sentence, and all. 

It looks pretty difficult!
