Is the bible really a book about the stars?

When one closely reads the bible , it appears that the bible is simply stories of the stars. A mix of astronomy as well as astrology.
The son, the twins, the virgin , the lion, the fish , etc..all there in the heavens. The "12" tribes of Israel

and 12 disciples. Like an ancient TV in the sky they watched as the pictures changed and built stories around them.

From the beginning God was to have said that they were to look to the heavens for "signs".

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:"
- Genesis 1:14 in King James Version of The Bible

Even Jesus gave reference to the stars for signs.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

The bible was simply a telling of the stories in the stars and the story of Jesus was a story made up to fulfill one of those prophecies from the sky.The Mayans did basically the same thing as well as many other civilizations.

I have finally found a gemstone that I can call my own. It is the ancient stone of my birth , and my zodiac. I have chosen bloodstone. Feel free to look up its history and meaning. Tell me what you think ?

Also, I want a new screen name. Something that is "me". I am open to suggestions. Or maybe I'll restore an old screen name, if its possiable. The Screen name that will be replaced will be EDMP88.

Although if and when I do, is still up for debate in my mind.

The DOG … THE DISQUIET DOG

The Dog has a great feeling for justice and follows the rules of fair play. This deep moral sense also makes the Dog honest and loyal. Dogs are as loyal as they come and very giving to others as long as they don’t go against what the Dog believes is right. If they do, watch the Dog’s teeth come out! Lucky is the person who is loved by a Dog, because he or she will likely be loved forever. The Dog’s loyalty goes so deep it will endure lies and transgressions, no matter how much they make him or her growl.

Dogs have the ability to save themselves in almost any situation by applying their natural, practical smarts. They will accept leadership from a true leader as long as it makes sense to their belief system. Dogs are not always leaders themselves but will be close to leaders, who can count on the Dog to save the day. Dogs are great organizers -- they have a knack for controlling chaos with their logical approach and commitment to order and fair play.

The Dog’s devotion to others is admirable, but don’t overlook the Dog’s need for solitude and reflection on his or her own life.
