Worked Today @ MindSay

Interesting day. Wanna hear about it? I dont care if you dont. :)

 

I worked my butt off in that hotel today for 8 hours. So i came home and Ken, the owner of 2 resturants and a hotel called me today and hes like.. I saw that your a christian and you study the Bible and I'm also a fellow believer and I would love it if you worked with me, I would have you doing a little bit of everything, The desk, housekeeping, working outside. waitressing, cooking and dishroom. And when i see that your doing a great job at it, i will give you a raise. and so i'm like YEAH!!!!!!!!!! So he wants me working with him a full 40 hour a week job, Thank you Jesus. He said i'll be flip flopping from both resturants as well as the hotel. So i go into work there at 8 in the morning. I havnt had a day off since i started this working stuff. lol. I do have to call this other hotel tomorrow and inform them that i am leaving to another hotel/resturant that'll pay me more and THEY LIKE JESUS! haha.  <333333 Hes like, I heard your at Riveredge and i'm thinking shes not gonna like it there. lol. I mean I worked with all nonbelievers and these people are pretty up there in their age but i pretty much ignored their comments and stuff. but thats cool that i'll be working with christians. I'm really happy when i get to be around christians so thats great. :) Yeah Jesus!!! So yeah. Hardest thing is saying i quit and picking up my one week pay check of $250.  Thats pretty good for a week of cleaning..I bought a laptop for $170 so i gotta pay my grandma back. I bought it on Ebay from this company so it better work lol i got warrenty and insurance on that thing too. We'll see. I'll be getting that this week or next week. AND i am gonna find out WHO MY ROOMMATE is for College!! This week orrrrr next week.. But.. YEAH!! :) So yeah Another Job!! and i made $14 in tips :)

Work today was just a royal pain in the ass. We were crazy busy and on top of that there was this visiting chef making this fancy expensive dinner and taking over our space.
It wasn't all bad, though, I mean most of the people I worked with today I get along with. Oh yeah and there's this new girl, Josephine, who is smoking hot so that made the day alot more enjoyable. So that makes two hot girls that I work with ;).
I spent like almost the entire five hours dishing up condiments and stuff for tomorrow's buffets. There was a three and a half page list of condiments.
Anyway, last night in welding I set my welding jacket on fire by mistake. I'm fine, luckily I had a thick long sleave shirt on underneith, my arm wasn't even burnt. I don't care, really, because the weld I was working on at the time turned out really good.
I'm going to give my Uncle Ray a call and see if he has an old welding jacket around the house I could use for the last couple weeks of class. My jacket is still useable but it now has a big (about two or three inches) hole in the left arm. If I have to I can always use the ones the school provides, but they are in just as bad shape as my jacket.
Oh, and I've decided I'm going to get my next welding course out of the way this summer. It is going to be a shorter semester but I'm sure I'll be able to do it just fine. My main reason for this is that the summer courses are anout three quarters the cost of a normal semester, and I also want to get all this done as quickly as possible.  The course will be a MIG welding course. MIG is wire-fed Arc wellding. I' don't remember what the term MIG actually stands for but I will.  Summer registration starts next week.

so yeah today was almost like anyother day. It rained this morning then at the same time it snowed. What the heck!?!? Anyway so i found out today that one of my friends that I worked with at summer camp( katie rowe) this past summer, fell down the stairs. Shes ok, but shes got bumps and bruses. I miss her dearly. I hope she feels better soon. She feel backwards down the stairs and almost landed on her head.That would have been bad.

 

So nothing much going on here. I just finished painting my dorm room. It looks so much better now. Before it was a nasty yellow color. I know,ecasue yellow is my favorite color.

Today:

Woke up.

Did chores.

Showered.

Went to Corn Huskers.

Cooked souped. It was funny because there wasn't any supervision on the making of the soup. It was ok but  the recipe was wierd. Like the potatoe soup wasn't very thick, so we put gravy mix in it to make it thicken up. It worked, and it tasted ok.

So am at my grandma's, and she said if I didn't want to go home right away I didn't have to so I am taking advantage of the wireless internet. 

I moved a bunch of boxes and stuff upstairs and then I stacked wood. Jim, my grandma's boyfriend was trying to hold a pile of wood with the 12 fridge pack of pop. I had to restack part of the pile because of that.

Men don't use their brains...

Well I think I am going to get off the internet now.

Man o man o man..... do i have sucker written on my face right now?

Today I went to the person i recently belived to be replaced..heck i dont know now if i am being replaced or what...

 

All i belived  i was to do today was go in to help stack up and organize some close hangers.

 

Well instead for 5 hours i basically did more then that lol. Now i'm not sure how much im even gonna get paid for my time and effort...but man i just feel like im being a sucker and then again maybee im not.

 

But hey bottom line is to know im still getting to some job for her meens..im deffently doing something right and anything helps me out. lol

 

Well im also happy i got my D&D minis today but i still have yet to get my beholder figure i payed for on ebay last week! It was soposs to be delivered via

3 day US priorty mail(trust me thats fast).The guy has 100% feedback yet he hasnt even reply to one just one of my polite emails! I'm begining to wonder if this person has suckered me. I hate those kind of fuckers on ebay. I still cant belive they allow these kind of scammers to continue to run there acounts! I meen like 100-200 negitive feedbacks from differnt people. I love using ebay but it really hurts there crediability when u have this kind of garbage.

 

Comon people its just common sense right?

Im just a fair guy who if you buy/sell somthing  you make sure get what you you payed for . Isnt that fair?
