Work Monday @ MindSay

I know it's been a while, but I've been stuck to the TV watching local news this week.  While at work on Monday, the Levee broke on the man made lake that serves as a major tourist spot taking out 300-400 ft of the road that I travel daily.  The lake emptied.  Due to the vast quantities of rain that our area has had, there is flooding all around and getting to and from work is a major issue for many.  Some have lost their homes.  We just had a wet basement.  and then there is Iowa, makes the flooding in WI look minor.  My prayers go out for all those effected by the floods, and their families. 

I live on high ground, however flooding and evacuations happened within a mile of my home, in either direction.

in other news, I've lost another 1 1/2 lbs this week for a total of 16.  I'm more that 25% of the way to my goal.  And only 4 more lbs until I go shopping

But having partners for group assignments sucks so bad. You either get a real kick ass group where you work heaps well together or you just get dickheads like this one guy in my group. So theres three of us and me and my other friend has done work so far, he's made up the most piss weak excuses for not showing nor her what he's got. Bitching and moaning about how he's got this 2000 word essay due and hasn't started yet. It isn't like we don't have assesments to hand in either. I got an essay due this friday and a test monday yet I still had enough time to finish off my part, go out on saturday, full day of gdpt, dance practice, two games of dodgeball and dinner.

 

I mean, we met earlier on thursday to discuss what we all were doing, I wrote it all down we then talked about meeting on monday to sort this all out. So after my 5pm tute I was at the library waiting, my friend came we got together to look at the work. Compiled it together and waited for an hour, my friend has him on facebook and sure enough he was "online", eventually he didn't rock up and so we headed home and was home by about 8. I took a short nap and had dinner and logged on to msn thats when things really started getting interesting....

Emailed the lecturer already and if he calls I aint picking up. What to do? I mean classic fuckhead or what?

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Work work work work. It's driving me past insanity. Tim was meant to be working for another week but not anymore. He's quit for good. So now I only have one other co worker souly in confectionary. For the other shifts (ie, weekends as my casual has a grandchild), I'm going to have to relly on my co workers around my section, and casuals. Christmas casuals don't come into effect til November. Late November. Fuck.

 

To other pathetic news, 4 days. I know that's sad. It hasn't even been two. But as said, what am I going to do for fun this weekend? Butt head.

 

And I miss you Reni. Lots and lots and lots. Can't wait til you're back in Canberra again cos it's awefully quiet without you... How many more sleeps?

Yes it is I. I am currently working again. I work at the Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. If you travel down hur look for me. Ill be at the Era Ticket Counter. I work monday-friday can u believe that. 3pm - 1am

I have seen 6 new movies this week. They were waist deep, superman returns, rv, click, lake house, and omen. Yes they were all good movies by the way. I am so tired and I still havent found a place to live. I am currently looking for a place for rent or to buy. I have 2 friends coming from North Dakota and Bethel to move with me. Well I am really bored now so I just wanted to finally say I am moving the Fuck out...........thank God.................ENJOY YOUR 4TH OF JULY EVERY1

I'm tired again already.

 

Spent all my weekend asleep and come Monday morning and off to work I'm flat out tired again and in need of rest.

 

Whilst at work the engineer came to repair the buffer. This was the first time that I had also been on site when he had so I was able to talk to him about the problem. Which is just as well because had he only replaced the fan belt it wouldn't have been long before I would have had to call my boss again over the fan belt because the last fan belt broke because a pulley had broken free and was tearing the belt to ribbons.

 

Also my papers to reapply for my drivers license have arrived this morning, so I shall be doing that later today. Have till midnight of the 28th of August before it is illegal for me to drive a car again.

 

And thats about it again for now.
