Woes @ MindSay

So it doesn't take me... *looks at clock* ... ALMOST FIVE HOURS to do four loads of laundry because someone forgot to take his/her sheets/lacy things out of the dryer for three friggin' hours. And because yours truly is too kind (stupid?) to remove said someone's now cold sheets/lacy things and pile them on top of the dryer so it's free to dry my sheets/lacy things (or, in this case, towels and socks and such).

*bangs head against the wall* I need a house. Or at least an apartment that has its own washer/dryer.

Once, just once I would like to go to the gym and work out without having to "clean up" after somebody. This is probably a petty complaint, but why after most guys stack a ton of weight on a bar or Hammer Strength machine finish using it, they decide it's cool for somebody else to take the weight off if they want to use it next?  It's as if they mustn't expend any more energy than required to lift these mammoth amounts of weight during their workout and anything extra, well that's the next person's problem. Never mind that the next guy or girl probably is going to lift less than half of what is on the bar...  I swear the gym should force the lazy to hire a "gym caddy".  You know, somebody to un-rack all of the weight that your local resident meathead somehow had the energy to put on the bar in the first place.  

I have this teacher who I do NOT enjoy. He teaches my computer class and its a required class. First, let me explain Doulas.

He thinks hes cool. He thinks the soccer/volleyball/basketball/wrestlers are his friends and want to "hang out" with him. Hes wrong... Hes a HUGE computer geek and none of the sports kids wanna be buddy-buddy with him. He has this goofy eye... I'm never sure where to look when I am talking to him. And as one of my classmates said "He looks like a weeble-wobble with jeans..." Which is pretty true... hes got an odd shaped body. Hes a big man (not that I have room to talk, I am a fat girl).

But my other problem with him is that he doesn't know how to teach... Like I said, hes a computer nerd and personal interaction is not his area. My sister and I take the class together and both are annoyed by this man. We had this mid-term and my sister and I studied for it BIG time and BOTH of us failed it!!! But our answers were the same as what he went over in class, just a more direct way of saying it.

So today, we go and talk to him about how we are doing in the class. And then he told us "Just study for the final and you'll be fine."

I bust out with, "We studied for the mid-term and we failed! Thats pretty rediculious"

"Rediculious?? Why do you say that."

And my sister goes... "Well if we studied for the last test and failed it, what is the point of even studying???"

He responds with, "Well that should make you want to study harder. You guys should be fine anyhow"

Now, I get an attitude sometimes... and today I got one with him.

I stopped before I could get to lippy...

Hes an awful teacher and i only have one more class with him and then the final... I will never have to deal with the weeble-wobble again!!!

 

 Yea!!! I wished for Santa to put a laptop in my stocking (like that was gonna happen, right?) but, TorridGirl  (my daughter) went out and bought herself one. Which is the next best thing to having my own, since we live together. The only hitch is when she goes out of town with her work, she will take it with her. Like next week, she is going to McAllen, Texas to stand in until they get another manager for that store. So she will be gone for four days. At least I still have some access to online at my buddy's. We still have hope of getting mine repaired though. Happy holidays friends!!

Arrrrggghhh!!! Well the verdict is in...motherboard is shot on the home computer! Big bummer!! Just when I was getting comfy with MindSay and making a few online friends. Thankfully my buddy is cool with me using hers to play catch-up now and then. Gotta work on the (haha) budget and see if there is a remote chance to repair or replace in the near (or distant) future.
