White Sox @ MindSay

White Sox Must Win
Well, I went to one of the bars last night to watch the Sox game, and did not come home very happy.  They're in a deep hole now and need to win, or else they're season is over.  I was expecting more for them, but maybe it was unrealistic.  They barely even made it to the playoffs, afterall.

Hopefully they can pull together like they did at the end of the regular season and get something going.

Go For The Sweep!
The White Sox have had an awesome series against the Twins so far, outscoring them 33-8.  The last game of the series is going on right now, and I'm feeling strong that the Sox will continue to kick ass.  There's a reason we're in first place.

I'd Rather Be In Arizona
Glad to see that the White Sox won today.  They won yesterday too, beating the Angels.  The team is 5-4 now in spring training games.

I would LOVE to go to Arizona for a week or so and watch some spring training games.  That would be an incredible experience.  Maybe next year.

No, really...maybe next year.

Three - Four - Nail You To The Floor
I've been bad at writing real entries of late. Oh well, until I have a serious rant, enjoy another randomosity blog.

- Three more weeks until I can start watching baseball again. The same old boring stories are taking shape ie; Yankees/Red Sox and so on. Since my beloved White Sox are the 2nd worst team in baseball or whatever, I am hoping to see the Indians dominate and the Brewers play like they did back in April and May. Say no the New York!

- The fall's TV selections look incredibly lame, even by regular TV standards. Thank Slayer for The Office.

- I need Season 1 of Dexter on DVD soon. Very soon.

- I met a new woman via match.com and I have to admit, she's about the coolest person on Earth. Something is bound to go incredibly wrong here, I just know it.

- Tuesday, I watched the infamous Death Bed: The Bed That Eats People. It was as horrible/amazing as it sounds.
It was the first movie I have ever watched where I honestly felt like the director filmed the movie first and then wrote the script. You just have to see it to understand the level of craposity that Death Bed ensues. Even still, a bed that is possessed by an ancient demon that devours humans and fried chicken.......pure genius.

Royals Hold Off Late Rally

The Kansas City Royals escaped Chicago with a 7-6 victory on Wednesday. KC held a 3 run lead going into the 9th and then a 3-run homer made it a 1 run lead. Then Joakim Soria struck out Paul konerko to end the game.

Brian Bannister earned the victory for the Royals. It was his 10th victory this season. His ERA is now 3.28.

Billy Butler hit his 5th homerun of the year and drove in 3 runs.

The Royals stole 4 bases in the game, 2 by Joey Gathright.

KC will start a home series with Cleveland on Friday.
