Jaffa Examines Wright’s Bad Attitude
Obama and Rev Jeremiah Wright_edited.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack

Writing for the Claremont Institute, Harry V. Jaffa rebuts the anti-American, anti-white, generally racist and Black victimization sermon excerpts you probably have heard or read of Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

In case one has been ignoring the American Race for President of the United States, Wright was the former Senior Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ and the acknowledged spiritual mentor of Barack Hussein Obama.

The one angle I am not sure I agree with Jaffa is his unique theme of justifying White enslavement of Black Africans that eventually have become African-Americans. I don’t disagree with his reasoning; however his case just comes across as the very attitude that has made Black Americans agree with Wright’s vision of Black victimization by the “White Man.”

In my way of thinking racism is racism. It is irrelevant if the racists are White or Black. If a Black person hates a person because he is White it is wrong. If a White person hates a Black person because he is Black it is wrong.

I am certain a Black American that reads Jaffa’s essay and has any knowledge of history will point out that many of the Founding Fathers that are claimed to decry the institution of slavery were slave owners until the day they died. This includes icons like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

With that bit of criticism on my part I have to say Jaffa’s essay is a good read that examines the reality of times of the existence of slave institution in America. An America in which a Black man still faces some hurdles yet with some good old fashioned American work ethic can and have become successful citizens of the United States of America. So I say get over your past and contribute to building a future in which racism becomes merely a practice of the fringe few or with God’s help eliminated (the last thought of elimination may be a bit utopian but I had to add it).

Childish Racism

Sooooo, If you read the post below, you would know the comments I recieved on a YouTube video regarding the colour of my skin (white) and nationality (British) from what appeared to be a very confused Asian man.

I took it with a pinch of salt, and sent a message to the user, asking why he posted what he did...

Here's the response I found today...

I dunno how your xenophobic racist cracker country UK works but in the US, if youre born in the US you're american...but anyway youre a fucking cracker who needs to get his head out of his ass, its cutting the circulation to your brain...btw cracker...paki doesnt mean anything for asians in the US...but maybe it does for fucking British crackers...i dont need to blow anyone up you have enough immigrants doing that in youre country already stupid cracker....

Sooooo I feel my suspicions to be correct. This is some dumb kid sat at his computer with no other racial slur to throw at me than 'cracker'. Woooo. Shame there are more 'crackers' in the World than there are uh.... black folk.

So yeah.

And if you are wanting to see the video which sparked the whole racial thing, take a look at this, and let me know please if this is in anyway provocative of the below comments 0_0

Let's talk about it then...
Just got back from Saskatoon.  Found a nice apt. in a 3 story walkup.  Nice place by the North Saskatchewan River - about as close to the country as you can get in the big city.  There is a sauna and whirlpool in the building as well as a games room and exercise equipment.  Big change from heating with wood  and playin 'Hide and Sneak' with Tadmorians(ie: retirees with nothin better to do than mess with your life)  :-)

I'm not real big on apartment living, but if you want to live in a house in Toontown you either pay $1000/mo. or more if you can find one, or you live in the ghetto with the pimps an the crack Ho's...($550+ and up).  Sooooo

I was just reading in the paper that Saskatoon has the highest "native" population in Canada.  This was some guy who is running for mayor saying that we need to provide a means for young natives to succeed in society if we want this to be the greatest city in the country...  Sounded like thinnly vielled bigotry to me.  Like "whatta we gonna do about the Injun problem, har har".  When will the 'friggin White Man' realize that it is primarily our attitudes towards these 'keepers of the land' and thier way of life, that is at the root of the problem.  Hell No!  Be like us or be underfoot! eh?...

For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.

Please don't misunderstand.  I have nothing against natives or any other race, creed or religion for that matter.  Some of my best friends are native.  I like to think that I understand and identify with thier situation.  After all, I come from an Old Order Mennonite background.  I find interesting parallels between our ways of life.  In particular as regards the earth and the spirit.

But alas, I know nothing and can only hope that your comments will help to clue me in.
So, will this rant stimulate an interesting dialogue?  I leave it to you.
