Wendy's @ MindSay
Billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, owner of Arby's, bought Wendy's for $2.34 billion, merging these two fast food phenomenons under a single, organized management. BUT... is this necessarily good? Will the hailed Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches necessarily mesh well with Wendy's comforting Hot Stuffed Baked Potatoes?
The four of us in abce inc. decided to conduct some onfield research and take on roles as mystery shoppers in which we secretly rated the food of both major food chains.
HOWEVER, the four of us are split in our group decision as Ellen and Lauren (aka C & A) took pure delight in Arby's classic melt sandwich and the ever refreshing Jamoca Shake. After an appetizing meal, they walked away convinced that Arby's recent take-over of Wendy's would be for the better. Clearly, they were "Thinking Arby's"
On the other hand, Austin and Marshall (aka E & B) begged to differ with their candid fascination of Wendy's championed square hamburgers and its famous Frosty™ Shakes. Finishing their meal, they were appalled that their newfound haven would be under new management. Their argument? Simply that "It's Wendy's."
In order to resolve our dispute and form a solid consensus in our mystery shopper report, we need your help. Please give any and all feedback as to whether the recent merging of Arby's and Wendy's is in fact beneficial or not.

I can't believe it's been almost 2 weeks since I've written... Well, last week I didn't have a class... I spent the majority of my days working on props... Which was a good thing, because I had to get those done... Nothing really exciting happened... On my day off, 4th of July, I went and watched fireworks with Lori and Kylee behind Target, and then we went to Wal-Mart, and there we actually had a better view, so we sat on top of the car and watched them for awhile... Eddie called and we got Wendy's, and then we came back to camp, Kylee went home, and Eddie, Lori and I sat on a blanket under the stars for a few hours... I had my melted chocolate frosty, and soggy, cold fries... LOL...
So this week I have 4 kids in my class... It's a much more cooperative group, and they take their time on things... We are actually incorporating drama, and a little bit of sign language this week... There are three girls and one boy... The boy, this afternoon, told me that he's signing up for Creative Arts again next year, and expects me to be there... Unfortunately, I don't think that will happen... But it was sweet of him to say that. (Both him signing up for it, and me coming back.)
So, I've been really stressed lately... I have a online math course I have to finish before college in the fall... It really sucks, because I hardly have time, and when I do, I feel like chilling, because I was so busy with other things... *Sigh*... Oh well... I WILL do it.
Oh, and, something I can't forget... I'M AN AUNT! My mom called me early this morning to tell me that my older sister had a baby girl this morning.... How exciting! My mom, younger sister, and younger brother are on their way to see them... (It's like a 12 hour drive) They offered to swing by and pick me up if I could get a ride to Chicago... But, that would mean I have to stay here longer at the end of the summer... Anyway, I'm staying here... Well, aside from tonight, when I am going to Chicago until tomorrow evening...
In all honesty, I don't really have much to say... Just thought I'd throw a random blog out there for the cyber world to eat... Because not many people read my blog anyway... Haha... Ciao!
Well today I have discovered another place not to get my coffee fix.
I worked the shoe store this morning and over slept so I didn't have time for a cup of joe before I left my apartment. When I left the store at around quarter to noon I was really jonesing for a cup of good hot coffee.
I also was hungry so I walked to the Wendy's about two blocks away. I ordered two Jr. Bacon's and a coffee.
The burgers were good but the coffee was terrible. It had no taste. It was like sucking down ash from an ashtray (anyone who has gotten way to drunk at the bar knows what I am talking about).
I drank it down 'cuz I try not to waste money. But I will never buy Wendy's crappy coffee again.
I'm now at my favorite coffee house and I have gotten my good coffee (god bless espresso).
oh, speaking of coffee, I bought a cool mug at a thrift store for 50 cents. It has all these colors written on it but each color is written in a different color (the word black is written in blue, Yellow in pink and so on). It's like a game where you try and see if you can read the colors as they are and not what they say, so far I haven't been able to make it all the way through without a mistake. boring, I know, but still kind of cool.
Also, it's really weird, I had a dream last night that someone stole my Mr. Coffee. It was kind of a scary dream. Why would someone take my coffee maker? I love the little guy, we've been through allot together. Oh good times, good times.
Anyway, I'm really babbling.Today was pay day so I'm not broke any more (for about a day). Wooo-Hooo. :)
Thanks for reading,

I was just at Wendy's eating a healthy meal of frescata club sandwich and baked potato when I looked out the window from my 2 feet of table space and saw a man get out of his truck (meh... a Ford, I should've known) and walk across the parking lot to throw his trash out. Nothing odd there. Perfectly natural and possibly even environmentally conscious. But then when he got back to his truck he threw his cup out of the window into the parking lot.
Why would he even bother pretending the first time?
How can the definition of the word 'picaro' be 1. PICARO? a picara is a female picaro and a picaro is a picaro. What the hell is Webster trying to pull here?
I was trying to find the spelling of 'peccadillo', so that I could use it in a sentence and appear learn-ed. but now that I see the definition I may not have been using it in the right way. Then again it tells me the definition of picaro is picaro.
Does anyone else read the dictionary or am I once again 'the freak'? I often find myself in this category, or the 'weird' or 'strange' category. Although the people who tell me this are usually saying this to me in a friendly and jovial way. But I wonder…. do the people who don't tell me this really think I’m weird (i.e. those that are not my friends) is it along the lines of "if people make fat jokes around you then you're not fat yet"? Then again....I’m not trying to be weird or freakish. It just seems to be attracted to me.
