i've been looking alot of places for bridesmaid dresses and i have alot of different idea's! we chose Blue Velvet. VERY pretty color!

i'm still looking at flower girl dresses, but i have a pretty good idea of what i'll have her wear. i love the flower girl dresses with the bow on the bottom of the zipper. makes it even more cute then it is! lol. but alas, it takes time for this wedding of ours of course! lol. more soon!

I had this dream last night that my sister was getting married to the wrong guy. The entire dream I was trying to tell her this, but she wouldn't listen to me. Our dresses were late in getting there, and when they did, I found out that the stupid wedding planners had gotten me a WHITE dress to wear with freaking UGG BOOTS. Yes, ugg boots.
Anyway, the entire dream, the people who were helping the wedding planners were being all snarky with me and stuff, and were talking about me behind my back - as if I was being rude or something. The funny thing was that they were standing right behind me as they talked about me. *eye roll* Why does that remind me of real life?
Back to the dream though... The dresses took FOREVER to get there, and they actually ordered me the wrong size boots AND the wrong color. I was about ready to kill someone.
So, because our dresses were late, the wedding was delayed, and some of my younger cousins were getting restless. So I took them down to the church basement to play for a bit while the dresses were getting there.
They finally got there, and I changed. But I guess the people who were helping the wedding planner and my sister decided NOT to tell me that my sister had already changed and was in the freaking process of getting married. Minor detail.
So, I continued to play with my cousins, until I heard music playing upstairs. I walked up there, only to find out that my sister and her boyfriend had already gotten married, and were walking down the aisle. O.O
I missed the entire wedding. I was in shock that I had missed my own sister's wedding, and nobody in my family bothered to tell me! It was one of those moments when I had no idea what to feel... Angry? Sad?
Oddly enough, I was upset that I had missed the big kiss. I don't know why, but I was really upset about that.
But most of all, after the wedding, I was disappointed with my sister, because she married the wrong guy...
It was so real, and I was incredibly relieved when I woke up.

The dream sites that I've visited have said a couple of different things about the different elements of the dream... I sent this entire thing into one though, and this is what I got back:

So a few of you know that I work in a shop that sells gowns for weddings (bridal and bridesmaid) and prom (oh god that season is coming soon o.o;  ) well when we get new dresses in the consultants put them on so we can inspect them and we know what it looks like? Manicans don't really have the right curves to get the full effect? I've sustained from this tried and true tradition for the one fact that...I really don't want to try on any wedding dresses...I get this weird feeling when I hold one up in front of me much less put one on...

well...

we got in one, not sure from which company but it was a blood red with black crystal's sewn on the bodice and no one wanted to try it on because it was too dark...I fell in love with it the second it came out of the box...it's my 'gothic fairy tale' wedding dress. (No Leif, I'm not throwing out any hints...take a deep breath and don't hurt yourself o.O ) Well we had about 3 people in the store 3 people qualifies the store as extremely dead. On saturdays we usually have more than 50 people in and out on slow weekends. It was a guy and his mother watching his bride to be trying on wedding dresses.

I put it on and had Julie lace me up and I yelled through door that train was huge and gave me way too much cleavage. Karen told me to get my butt out on the floor and take my hair down. So grudgingly...I put my hair down...I think it's too long to keep down at work(unprofessional and too warm) , a few more inches and I'll be able to sit on it o.O

Well I came out and the guy that was sitting there I hadn't realized it but he was pretty punk rockerish looking and he took one look at me and turned to look at his fiance and said (jokingly I might add) "Remind me why I'm marrying you again?" and got a good one from his mom for his smart assisim and she told him "keep your eyes in your head you horn dog" lmfao I laughed so hard my eyes started watering Karen said that I should be one of the models at the convention in two months...I laughed at her...nooo way.

Oh I found some pics of the short train version, and it's silver beading not black like the one in our store.
