War Of The Worlds @ MindSay
Mena came around today. I never really said anything about it being our 29th week together, but then I only really remembered by the time she'd actually arrived back at her house, so...Happy 29 week anniversary baby, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did :)
What'd we get up to? Eh, the usual really. I made us some dinner, and burnt it. Yeah, was only crumpets, but it's a fine art trying to get them cooked enough. With me, they're either not quite cooked, or burnt. Still, one out of three attempts isn't bad. Just a bit disappointing that today was one of the two burnt ones :P That said, it's the thought that counts as well. And yeah, we cuddled up n listened to music.
I'm seeing her again next Tuesday - Valentine's Day, so I've gotta get her some choccies. I keep joking that I'm going to get her a card, but I don't think I will. She finds it to be too commercial, and to be honest I agree with her, so I'll just get her some chocolate. I don't need a special occasion to tell her how much I love her, I do that pretty much everyday :P
For next week, I'm planning on being different and watching movies with her for a change. We've always said that we were gonna do that, so yeah, we're gonna do that :) I don't know what though. I think we're gonna watch Fight Club, and War of the Worlds. Not sure though.
Well, that's all for now. I'll give you a more thrilling update into whatever tickles my fancy another time, but right now, I'm knackered, and I'm going to bed.

I shan't bore you with all the details (as if I'd tell you anyway), but we spent all day cuddled up, apart from when we went to get some dinner. Was nice to see her again, and the best part? It's only 6 days till I see her again :D
She also bought me War of the Worlds on DVD as a pressie, and it's a fantastic film. I'm on about the new one, by the way. Might get around to watching the old one, if it ever pops up on telly.
So yeah, I'm going to see InMe on Saturday, as you know, but I'd love to know who the fuck is supporting them, cos their site doesn't mention any other bands. Suppose it'll be a surprise. I just hope it's a nice one :P
Right, to close this, I'm going to mention a few songs you might wanna download and listen to, cos I reckon they're pretty good. So yeah, take a look at the list, and pick and choose. By the way, album names are in brackets.
Secret Machines - Breathe (September 000)
Span - When She Stares (Mass Distraction)
The Darkness - Bald (One Way Ticket To Hell...And Back)
Fort Minor - Believe Me (feat. BoBo & Styles of Beyond) (The Rising Tied)
Fort Minor - High Road (feat. John Legend) (The Rising Tied)
Straylight Run - Your Name Here (Sunrise Highway) (Straylight Run)
Unwritten Law - Get Up (Here's To The Mourning)
There, that'll do for now. If you do happen to listen to any songs in that list/own any, leave a comment about it, whether you like/hate the song, or suggest alternatives.
Till next time - t'ra

MMMMmmm We are eating a delicious pizza from Sam's Club we got today. It's a surpreme and it's just as good or better than any delivery pizza or frozen pizza. You can get it freshly made and take it home, or you can take it home and cook it, that's what we did. We also got a few things in bulk that we need, and it's kind of exciting that we won't be buying toliet paper, paper towels, face scrub, conditioner and baby wipes for a long while! :) We also got Moby a bed for only $20 that he can lay on on the front porch instead of our old comforters!
Sweetie talked me into getting back out to go get a pizza pan and the movie the War of the Worlds. He says it's Tom Cruise's best performance. I've always liked him although I do think he's a weirdo now. So, off I go to eat my pizza and watch a movie.
Oh yeah, I've also being doing laundry all day, vacummed, swept, picked up poop and trash and swept the front and back porches and managed to spend some good quality time with Dave and Noah. Okay, bye for now... :D

The Corpse Bride was a very sweet and touching fairytale. Saw it today with Jarrod, Naomi, Sarah and Scott. Had lots of fun before - shopping! I specifically went to Chaddy to do the last of my christmas shopping, but of course also did a bit of shopping for myself - another pair of Birkenstocks, Seinfeld Seasons 5 & 6 Boxsets, War of the Worlds DVD, Madonna's Confessions on the Dancefloor (I love it! Groovin!), a few tops for Jan and something else I'm battling about whether to keep or give to someone for christmas...I can't talk specifics cuz the person reads my blogs...But let's just say it's very purdy...And I like it myself, but then I think this person would like it too...But would this person appreciate it as much as I do?! Hmmm...That is the question. I am very tempted to keep it myself and get this person something else...
Anyway, we had fun shopping. Jarrod got some clothes and Scott finally got a DS Mario Kart bundle! Yay! Another one joins the DS club. I finally have a friend I can play with! :D
