Normally, I don't post personal stuff on this blog. But you will NOT believe the day I've had!
We were going by a storage unit and smelled pet urine....some jerk locked his dogs in the storage unit! HE HAD PUPPIES IN THERE! For two freaking hours!!!!! Mom and I raced inside and called the cops, who in turn gave us the number for animal control, who weren't at the freaking phone! Those dogs could have died and there was nothing we could have done becaue those eejits weren't at the phone!
Anyways, the guy who had a unit not far from the unit where the dogs were in told us that he had put his dogs in there at 11:30am. ELEVEN THIRTY!!!! Well, anyways. When the scuzzball picked up the dogs our maintenance guy was out there and told him that he can't leave his dogs in the unit like that. The guy claimed that he was going to only be gone for a couple of minutes....that's the biggest crock I've ever heard!
On top of which, we had a really bad thunderstorm out here which knocked out our hot-water heater so we've had to deal with no water, and hot weather. To top off this "gorgeous" day, I found out that my exbf, Ricky, has colon cancer. :( This day is crap!!!!!
I was so glad that our maintenance guy handled it for us...I didn't want to be in the same room as him. When I'm livid I tend to get violent and I didn't want be sent to jail for breaking his nose. Let's just say that I'll be doing Tae-Bo tonight for exercise!

Everyone is our Customer!
I got off my ass about 11 am yesterday. Took a nice long shower, feed my puppy, romped around with my puppy, cleaned my mudporch (including bleaching out the floor-it's the puppy's kennal at night), unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back up, did three loads of laundry, and lazed around till the kids got home!
I even made taco's last night! Hubby came walking in when I was cuttin up the lettuce and immeditaly made a smart ass comment about how he will stay outside till I am done using the knife! We ate, watched Enterprise and then after the kids had their daily showers/baths, we, minuse hubby, snapped on my puppy's leash and went for a walk down to my parents house. Up the lane, down the road along the hiway, and paritally through a field due to a pitbull dog of my parent's neighbor's being down near the drive entrance. Talked a bit with the parental units and teased my brother about being an old man because he was still sleeping from his afternoon nap! Then since the neighbor's called the dog back to their house we walked up my parent's lane, across the hiway (teaching the kids to go with traffic) and back up the road. Waved at the neighbor kids who were out whose mom went to school with my brother, back into our drive, stopped and played with my aunties dogs and then walked back down the lane. We walked 1.48 miles total. I figured out since we live in the hallow it is ruffly .6 miles down to my folks place. If we lived at the top of the hill like my auntie it would have been .5 miles.
We got back in time for the light show in the sky! Thundering and Lightening the whole night and when I woke up about 1 am due to still not feeling good it was just down powering! If I would have been feeling better I would have gone outside and played! This morning I was up with hubby because I slept on the couch because I didn't want to wake him up with me constantly getting up. I helped him load up his truck and we decieded to wait on putting the puppy out since we don't have a dog house yet (have to specially build him one) and I am not walking him over to the car ports because they are closer to the other woods, near the start of our drive.
The kids are crabby and want to stay home on their last day of school this week and I won't let them. They want to go outside and play in the storm so I am hoping that it continues storming for them and then again I dont' want my lane all mucked up either and hope it stops. We actually enjoy weather like this in our house because we are storm loving people! We even go outside and watch the skys even when raining and hailing during Tornado warnings!
The radar for today says massive storms are going to be going on all day and the light shows this early in the morning are spectacular! Here is to Tuesday Thunderstorms!
